The Character Wolvy was 5″5 and they could of made him shorter if they wanted too it is a movie,come on any movie film maker can at least try to keep the story right. I also agree with it being rated R all the way wolvy acts or is the animal in nature he trys to keep him self from going haywire. Also if they mess this movie up i am going to be pissed. They already messed up The Juggernaut, and some other characters!!!!!!

They just wanted some bigger heroes in the movie, my favorite x-men have always been Strong Guy and Banshee but they will never make it into the movies just because theyre not popular enough heroes. There are other mutants that are just as cool as Gambit and actually have a connection to weapon x like Marrow but as i said earlier, they only want popular characters.

That WOLVERING 5-piece stand alone series with the Samurai-lean is outstanding, though I doubt it would hit a mainstream audience which is why it probably isnt being used.

I’m hoping for a total homerun with WOLVERINE, mostly becaues it’s the gatekeeper movie for a bunch of really great films that can help to tell mammoth stories that just simply can’t be told otherwise.

I like hugh jackman, A LOT. very good actor, i also appreciated his role in the first X-men movie, i thought he was totally wasted in the other 2 films. and they weren’t that good imho. looking forward to this one…but first – BSG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Jackman being tall doesn’t bug me a bit. As was stated above, this is the “movie” Wolverine just as we had the “movie” Iron Man, Batman, etc.

Vic: I agree about the R rating probably being a no go just because it’s owned by FOX. The viloence will probably exactly like Wolverine was protrayed in the X-MEN films, but the language will be filthier.

IMHO, FOX is the worst of ALL the studios that produce comic book movies. If WB/Newline or Liongate or even Universial own the X-men franchise, it would have been alot grittier especially with this Wolverine movie.

I hope this movie kicks ass too. I can’t wait to see it. Wolverine is one of my favorite Marvel characters (Deadpool being the first. I hope they get him right in this, and give him his own film!) and it looks like they are getting it right with his violent and romantic past.

Now I have to go see The Day the Earth Stood Still! That sucks. I hate Keanu.

Hugh Jackman IS Wolverine. All you purists need to calm down when the guy on screen portraying a FICTIONAL character doesn’t look EXACTLY like he’s DRAWN!!! He’s too tall, give me a break.

Unfortunately I doubt they’d have the balls to make this rated R, which would make it a way better film IMHO.

Nothing like slicing people with razor sharp claws and having no blood appear. Maybe they have lasers built in and cauterize wounds as they create them.

Rob Keyes: From the looks of the Comic Con footage, looks like Wolverine going to be a tad bit grittier because of the bad language. Hoping it’s as raw as Blade.
