Oh do I feel like a nerd. In a second I knew it was Enemy Within and the scratches came from Yeoman Rand. Oh man I’ve seen way too much Star Trek.

I know it’s not the popular thing to say, but seeing Bill as JTK… God, I miss him.

The Enemy Within is my favorite Episode.
I just love the conversation between
between Spock and MCoy about Spocks struggle with his two halves .
Nice to have a lighthearted Trek topic here .

I thought that was great! Very very funny.

I am really enjoying re-watching TOS on TV Land. It had been years since I even saw a clip of TOS, much less an episode. And I appreciate it even more now than I did before. I’ve watched episodes of every iteration of Trek, and TOS is far and away the best of them all. I am cautiously excited about the new film. I hope it is the start of something great, I really do.

Have you guys seen the version of classic Trek with updated visual effects? It totally rocks and is worth seeking out on TV.

This was hilarious.

Actually, you can watched a number of the remastered Star Trek for free on CBS.com, including “The Enemy Within”

I really like what they did remastering the TOS - George Lucas, this is what the Special Editions should have been!

@vitaboy

THANKS for that link! Gang, I highly recommend you head over and check out some of those remastered episodes - especially ones where there are a lot of exterior shots of the Enterprise and other ships. I love how they “cleaned up” the footage, but were completely faithful to the original - avoiding the temptation to update anything.

They’ve been showing the original Trek over here in the UK on our SciFi channel for some time, cleaned up and better looking and as good as ever.
I watched them as a kid but great to see again and many (not all) still impress me.

Just thought I’d tell you here..that right now here in th UK there’s a reality tv show called I’m A Celebrity-Get Me Out of Here, where some famous faces (and some not so famous ones) have to live for 3 weeks in the Australian jungle…and do various tasks..mostly getting covered in bugs and spiders..but this year George Taki is taking part aged 71 I think he said.
he is going down a storm and seems a really nice guy…I always loved his character in Star Trek…he’s finding new fame now here in the UK.
