Sounds good, just hope he doesn't become typecast as Wolverine...(or IS he already?). Anyways, I liked "Origins" better than what I've heard from many people. Some didn't have good things to say about it, but I take all that with a grain of salt. You like what you like, and that's the way it is. I thought Origins was well done enough. Not the best movie in the world, but entertaining enough. I didn't mind paying to see it at the theater as opposed to waiting till it came out on DVD.

@ Weapon 420, That would be awesome, but i really doubt that will ever happen. Fox is not gonna want to give Marvel extra money just to use Hulk and Nick Fury. Fox is making alot of money just with their X-Men characters.

I guess some people missed the article stating that Nick Fury belongs to Marvel and X-Men belong to Fox.

I hate to say it but he's the only man on Earth that could pull off Carousel on the big screen or any screen! And I hate musicals!

For the Woverine sequal I like the whole Japanese storyline, and if the studios that own the properties to the characters joined together to have Nick Fury approach Wolverine with the task of capturing or killing the Hulk that would be a good nod to the comics.

CAROUSEL, CAROUSEL and again CAROUSEL!! Please Hugh, do Carousel, I beg you!! I'm also very excited about Houndini. Sure, Hugh IS Wolverine, more than Christopher Reeve is Superman, but for me the man is born to do musicals...

I've actually been toying with the idea in my own head that they should lump the Wolvy Japanese saga from the Wolverine miniseries (Mariko & The Hand & Silver Samurai) with some of the stories set in Madripoor and then set that first half of a film against a second act involving Nick Fury approaching Logan in Japan for a covert op in Eastern Europe, trying to locate and steal an adamantium knock-off called carbomantium, which the Soviets are trying to use to develop their own Weapon X, named Omega Red (since the sequel is set in the time period of the cold war, as the first one ended somewhere in the 70's.)

Once Wolvy locates the Carbonmantium he hides it in Madripoor's Lowtown to prevent anyone from making another weapon like him, and the finale is a big brawl between Russian special-ops, The Hand (w Silver Samurai), S.H.I.E.L.D., Wolvy and Omega Red.

Epilogue: When Silver Samurai and the hand are defeated, Wolvy's love interest (Mariko) steps up to become the head of her clan's crime syndicate and banishes Logan from Madripoor which he accepts out of love for her.

Good? Too much for one movie?

I loved the whole Japanese angle with Wolverine. Wolverine is an animal in human flesh – raging, emotionally charged and undisciplined. A samurai is the complete opposite of that. It could be a great flic!
