So I guess nobody here has ever played the classic 16-bit earthworm jim video games? sigh…those were some of greatest and hilarious 2d side scrollers of the 90s.

Honestly if it weren’t for this being based on a Tennapel graphic novel I wouldn’t be interested in this at all. I like Hugh Jackman as an actor but will not run to watch every single of his movies.

Van Helsing was one of the most unintentionally funny movies I’ve ever seen. It’s one of those so bad, it’s good movies. Plus it had Kate Beckinsale who I would watch in almost anything. I guess many women feel the same way about Hugh.

1) Van Helsing did $300 million. You can’t call that a flop as far as it concerns box-office.

2) The Fountain, Scoop, The Prestige, none of these movies were supposed to be box-office hits. C’mon guys! Give the man a break!

3) Jackman IS a good actor. In his movies, whether are good or bad, he is never the weak part of them. Australia maybe was a flop but if you read the reviews, his performance was regarded as one of the the positives of this movie. The same with Kate & Leopold (he got a Golden Globe nomination for that one)

4) He’s not just a good actor but also an amazing singer/dancer. A superb Oscar host, and that’s something most people agreed with. Also, have you ever seen him on YOUTUBE doing The Boy from Oz, Oklahoma! or Carousel? He is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

Consesus: Hugh Jackman is one of the most talented and likeable superstars of today. And when you give him a pair of adamantium claws he is also one of the most bankable. So yeah! I’ll definetely see that Ghostopolis thing. Sice Hugh stars, I’ll all in.

I know a lot of the guys didn’t like X-men Origins: Wolverine, mostly because they’re Marvel/Wolverine geeks(my brother included) but I loved it. And I enjoy Hugh Jackman. Van Helsing wasn’t bad because of Hugh–it just didn’t flow right. He’s good in whatever he does.

Far as Ghostopolis, I plan on seeing it. Concept’s not original, but it sounds entertaining.

Doug Tennapel. The same guy of Earthworm Jim fame? Awesome, he’s a great artist with lots of imagination although I haven’t read any of his graphic novels as they aren’t particularly easy to find. I believe the graphic novel hasn’t come out yet but probably will later this summer.

After watching Jackman in Wolverine.. seeing him promote the film..the Oscars etc.. I can guarantee you.. I WILL DEF be keeping my eye out for this one.

He seams like a genuinely nice guy. Not afraid to work outside of the box.. And it’s because of this that he keeps me coming back for more. How can anyone not like this guy? He’s sooooo LOVE ABLE.. a big ~ sweet ~fuzzy Koala HUNK
And his work is always honest and entertaining..
