A second theatrical trailer for Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon has hit the Web, along with some exclusive concept art from the film. This second trailer covers a few more of the details in this story about a Viking village that is constantly at war with dragons until one day a nerdy Viking kid and young spunky dragon form a friendship.
The concept art from the movie is pretty impressive, featuring early conceptual designs for some of the film’s most fearsome dragons and the lairs they call home.
If you want a quick synopsis for How To Train Your Dragon, you’re in luck:
The son of a Viking chief must capture a dragon in order to mark his passage into manhood and prove his worthiness to the tribe in directors Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois’ adaptation of Cressida Cowell’s popular children’s book. Gerard Butler, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse provide voices.
And without further ado here’s the new trailer, courtesy of Yahoo Movies:
We’ve heard some early reports that this film is going to be better than Kung Fu Panda, Dreamworks only top-quality movie to date (in my opinion, of course). That’s a big claim to make, so I hope it turns out to be true; there’s enough to How To Train Your Dragon to make me want to check it out in the theater. I don’t want to be disappointed.
Anyway, here’s the How To Train Your Dragon concept art as promised, courtesy of Empire:

I always thought this would be the other way around if they were going to use age as a reference. A wolf is more instinct – it makes sense to me that a werewolf would need to grow into their humanity, if it was based purely on age. Now, if they said that he was more human because he’s only ever been around humans most of his life, that I could buy.

WTF are either one of you talking about?
O great concept art that the film never seems to be able to come close to in impact, mood, and tone. As usual it gets watered down to the point where it's just blah.
This new trailer is a snooze pill. Vikings that act like 20th century Americans. Yaaawn. Will not be watching this ever.
It actaully looks good, I'll be watching it in good ole fashioned 2D.
