The Library Annex is one of the first locations that players can access upon arriving at Hogwarts Castle in Hogwarts Legacy. There are 20 locations for hidden field guide pages here that players will surely want to be on the lookout for. This zone is one of the six wings that make up Hogwarts Castle and is easily recognized by the Central Hall and Library where players can access a hidden section beneath it. It's also the place where players can learn about the secrets of those weird Math Puzzle Doors.
It is located on the North side of the school between the Bell Tower and Great Hall. The Floo Flame locations found within this section are: Central Hall, Divination Classroom, Greenhouses, Library, Potions Classroom. Players will be required to advance past the Secret Map Chamber in order to obtain every field guide page as well as unlock all the spells needed in order to solve the puzzles to gather the Field Guide Pages within.
Hogwarts Legacy Field Guide Page Locations: The Library Annex
There are a total of 20 Field Guide Pages in the Library Annex in Hogwarts Legacy. This guide features detailed screenshots showing the locations of all the field guides within the Library Annex, including which spells to use to collect them, along with screenshots of the area and the map to find them.
1. Palmistry Model
Revelio: Start at the Divination Classroom Floo Flame, climb all the way to the very top of the stairs. You will get into the Palmistry room and can use Revelio in front of the desk with the hand on it to reveal a hidden guide page to be collected.
2. Arithmancy Classroom
Revelio: Starting at the Divination Classroom Floo Flame, head down the hallway and turn right. you will make your way into the Arithmancy Classroom. In this room, cast Revelio to reveal the hidden field guide page in front of the desks in the room.
3. Gorgon Portrait
Revelio: Starting with the Library Floo Flame, follow the dotted line in the map picture to get to a storage room at the bottom of the restricted section of the library. There is a painting in the middle of the room. Use Revelio to reveal this hidden page called "Gorgon Portrait"
4. Moth Painting: Ogre
Lumos: Cast Lumos in front of the mirror located in the hallway indicated by the purple arrow in the map image above. Walk down the hallways toward where the white cursor is aimed at. You shouldn't miss the large ogre behind the display case. Use Lumos on the moth and bring it back to the painting to collect your field guide page. Recast Lumos to turn it off and allow the moth to join the painting.
5. Professor Sharp's Auror Badge
Revelio: Starting with the Potions Classroom Floo Flame, head into Professor Sharp's room and use Revelio at the large round table to reveal the hidden field guide page.
6. Central Hall Locked Door Statue
Levioso: In Central Hall, there is a door on the main floor that is locked. Use Alohomora to unlock the door, walk in and you will see the statue, it will have a white glow when aiming at it. Cast Levioso on the statue to reveal the field guide page and collect it.
7. Flying Page: Viaduct Entrance
Accio: Starting at the Centrall Hall Floo Flame, head up the stairs. You will see your location change to "Viaduct Entrance". In this area, look up o see a page flying above. Use Accio to collect the field guide page.
8. Central Hall Fountain
Revelio: Right smack-dab in the middle of Central Hall there is a mermaid statue. Chances are that you probably already have this one as it was featured in previously seen gameplay before release. If not, use Revelio to reveal the hidden field guide page.
9. Enchanted Books
Revelio: When in the library's restricted section, you will walk through several rooms. When you come down the stairs to the room shown in the picture above, use Revelio to unveil the field guide page on the half bookcase in the middle of the room.
10. Storage Library Statue
Incendio / Confringo: As you arrive at the storage room of the restricted section in the library, there will be a statue right near the bottom of the stairs next to sheets covering items in storage. Use your fire spells to destroy the statue and collect the hidden guide page.
11. Moth Painting: Library
Lumos: On the second floor of the main library area, there is a moth painting on the wall. Cast lumos to reveal the location of the moth, then head over to the speaker's stand at the head of the room overlooking the lower section. There is a moth sitting on the stand, cast Lumos to carry the moth with you back to the painting. Recast Lumos to let the moth enter the painting.
12. Flying Page: Library
Accio: While standing on the second level of the library there is a flying page patrolling the middle section. It's a bit harder to see on the first level, but can still be spotted above. Cast Accio on the flying page to collect it.
13. Flying Page: Central Hall
Accio: In Central Hall, there are two flying pages. The first page is flying high in the air near the pillars. Use Accio to collect the page.
14. 2nd Flying Page: Central Hall
Accio: The second flying page in Central Hall flies lower than the first, close to the giant dark door. When you see it, use Accio to bring it to you and collect it.
15. Moth Painting: Library Central Hall
Lumos: This is the first Moth Painting most players will come across as there is an associated side quest meant to serve as an introduction. It's right in the center of Central Hall on one of the walls. Cast Lumos to reveal the painting, then head down the small set of stairs, and turn left. You should see the statue of Gregory The Smarmy. The moth is located here, use Lumos to bring it back to the painting.
16. Dragon Basin in Central Hall
Incendio / Confringo: Inside Central Hall, there is a dragon basin up one of the sets of stairs, overlooking the hall. Use one of your fire spells on the basin to light it aflame and collect the field guide page.
17. Greenhouse Tree
Revelio: Leave Central Hall and head into the Greenhouses. You can also choose to teleport to the Greenhouses Floo Flame. Within the greenhouse, there is a large tree you cannot miss. Use Revelio in front of the tree to collect the hidden field guide page.
18. Statue of Gregory The Smarmy
Revelio: The same statue from step 15 also has a Revelio Field Guide Page in front of it. Go to Gregory The Smarmy in Central Hall and use Revelio to collect this page.
19. Portrait of Sir Cadogan
Revelio: From Central Hall, walk up several sets of stairs until you get to the balcony that overlooks the large brown door. You will find portraits on the wall that you can Revelio to reveal the hidden field guide page.
20. Dirigible Plums
Revelio: From the Greenhouse Floo Flames, walk straight ahead and take a slight left into the greenhouse after the large tree. Walk down the stairs and cast Revelio in front of the large potted tree to reveal the field guide page.
