That’s a good question, Ashley. At a guess, I would say yes, that they will check badges at the entrance to the ballroom of the Hilton.

do you need a comic con ticket to get into the panel at the hilton?

There’s other events taking place at the Hilton throughout the con. The Hilton is as close to Hall H (south end of convention centre) as the Marriott is to door A. Comic Con really has outgrown the convention centre so alternative or additional locations even if removed from the main con are okay with me. I liked the use of Petco Park when “300″ was shown there. I’ve always felt there could be more use like that.

Perhaps NBC confirmed too late to get scheduled into an on-site room. It’s pretty obvious that there’s been disruption with the show and a network that’s not really trying to help. Supposedly, 2 years ago when there was so many people that didn’t make it into the HEROES panel held in Ballroom 20, the con blamed the studio for not wanting empty seats so they chose the smaller room (instead of Hall H). If that is a true fact, perhaps this location is based on that same sort of thinking. No matter, I’ll find my way to the Indigo Room!
