Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for the Hawkeye season finale

Disney+ has released a joyful blooper reel following the series finale of Marvel Studios’ Christmas extravaganza, Hawkeye. Excluding Shane Black’s Iron Man 3Hawkeye is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first true holiday romp — from its music and themes to Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) assembling trick arrows like Kevin Mccallister in the final act of Home Alone. In addition to its central duo, Hawkeye stars Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d'Arcy James, Alaqua Cox, Florence Pugh, and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Throughout its six episodes, Hawkeye has taken inspiration from Matt Fraction and David Aja’s comic, My Life As A Weapon, exploring Clint’s physical vulnerabilities and hearing loss, and featuring Lucky the Pizza Dog as Hawkeye and Kate combat the Tracksuit Mafia. Thrown into the mix have been Maya Lopez/Echo (Cox), Daredevil’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (D'Onofrio), and Black Widow’s Yelena Belova. The latter is brought into the fold after misunderstanding Clint’s involvement in her sister’s sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame and wants him dead (on top of being hired to kill him by Eleanor Bishop). Hawkeye episode 6, “So This Is Christmas?” wraps up Hawkeye’s plot with a fairly neat bow as Clint does in fact make it home for Christmas, with a couple of friends.

This week, Disney+ dropped the final episode of Hawkeye just in time for Christmas. On top of a post-credits scene elaborating on the delightful (or intolerable?) "Rogers: The Musical," the streamer released a blooper reel, which essentially serves as a holiday sendoff for the cast. You can check it out on Disney+’s website here. Yelena and Clint in Hawkeye Blooper Reel

Even though the dialog and audio of the blooper reel is completely overshadowed by holiday music, Hawkeye’s compilation is still indicative of the fun its cast and crew had making the series. While the actors can't be heard speaking, their laughter is very evident. It’s not a stretch to say that it mirrors the fun audiences had watching the series, which is arguably a merry homage to Home Alone, Die Hard, and other Christmas classics. Despite being Marvel Studios’ least-watched series on Disney+, Hawkeye has impressed fans via its action sequences, electric chemistry between its leads, and teases of what’s to come in the MCU.

Many assumed Clint would retire at the end of Hawkeye. However, the series finale left his MCU future up in the air and only alluded to Kate inheriting his mantle. Still, Kate, Yelena, and other prodigies are likely to pop up in the MCU soon. Hawkeye opens the door for a handful of characters including the aforementioned pair, Jack Duquesne/Swordsman (Dalton), Echo and, of course, Kingpin, who appears to meet his end at the hands of Echo in the finale (off-screen). Regardless, he and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) could still appear in the Echo spinoff series. That being said, it's likely audience will see a lot of Hawkeye’s cast laughing together again.
