sweet awsome contest vic glad I live in the good old USA, crossing my fingers.
hey Drsambeckett and Gary smith I have a question for u if u dont mind. How is it u are able to go to this site when it is a dotcom bc when I was in canada visiting a friend I was unable to access this site bc it was a.com. It told me it was out of access or somtin it didnt work with alota other sites to, it said it was limited to America.Is there alternet sites for every country or am I just really slow??
@KanTstandYa
Most countries allow access to .com sites, even in Canada. My guess is, your friend either had parental controls set up so you couldn’t access certain sites, or your friends ISP won’t allow access to certain sites. But I have plenty of friends in Canada who’re perfectly able to visit most US sites, and pretty much all sites on the internet. I live in the UK and can access pretty much whatever I want.
@The rest of ya.
Yeah, sucks that people outside of the US can’t enter, but really, what if you won. Either you’d get a Blu-Ray player that only plays region 1 DVD’s (so all you’d be able to play on it would be the Harry Potter DVD’s you received with the player), or you’d receive a bunch of Blu-Rays that you wouldn’t be able to play on your Blu-Ray PLayers.
Or… we could play them on a region free blue ray player. That works too. Personally I have lots of asian films and also movies imported from the us so a region free player is necessary.
I live in Europe if anybody wondered by the way.
That’s true although region free players are usually more expensive.
@ Joshi
AH I C, and one more question in the reverse can I access uk sites or canada sites while im in America?? I recently tried one site but it rerouted me to a domain name page not found. Im a big fan of a show in canda called trailerpark boys but it wont let me go to the website to watch shows or anything??
@KanTstandYa
You should be able to but if not, then again it may be your parents have set up a filter to stop you accessing certain sites. But as far as I know, there are absolutely no laws or anything in the US to stop you from accessing sites from other countries.
Oh sure! I click on the link and the website is denied by my job’s server! DRAT!! I guess I have to remember to enter when I get home.
Or you could just tell me I’ve won and send it to me. I think I like this option the best.
HOLY HELL!!
My brother would LOVE this.
