Until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 hits theaters in July, I expect we’ll be seeing Warner Bros. releasing more and more promotional material that plays up the idea that this is the end of the boy wizard’s adventures.

Today that marketing machine is already revving up, with a new poster for the final Harry Potter film hitting the Web, featuring the titular hero (Daniel Radcliffe) face to face with his arch-nemesis Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). As a bonus, we also have a leaked image from the film that shows the type of devastation and (gasp!) death that Harry and Co. will have to endure in their final battle.

In this second Deathly Hallows film, Voldemort has all the tools he needs to kill Harry Potter once and for all, while Harry and his loyal friends Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) continue their search for the mystical talismans (the horcruxes) that will help them, in turn, kill the dark lord. As their search leads team Potter back to Hogwarts, Voldemort learns of their plan, sparking a final showdown that only one side can walk away from. It all ends here, folks.

In order to really push Deathly Hallows: Part 2 as the action-packed showdown that we sat through the static hours of Deathly Hallows: Part 1 to fully appreciate, Warner Bros. has crafted this latest promo poster in the vein of a boxing or MMA main event. See for yourself:

BONUS: A Brazilian website snagged an image from Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which features a haggard and beaten Harry on approach to what looks like his final showdown with Voldemort. I will say upfront that certain aspects of the image could be considered a POTENTIAL SPOILER, so view at your own risk:

[END POTENTIAL SPOILER]

It’s going to be bittersweet to see these Harry Potter films bow out of theaters. I was never a big follower of J.K. Rowling’s novels, and have mostly followed the franchise through the movies. Yet, even with that loose association, watching these actors grow up and mature (and each subsequent film installment mature with them), has been an amazing journey the likes of which we may never see again in cinema, so I will definitely be there opening night to send Harry off in proper style.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be in theaters to finish the fight on July 15th.
