Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 clip New Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Clip Reveals The End of Harry Potter

If you’ve been following the marketing blitz for this summer’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, then chances are good that the running themes of “It all ends here” and “The end is nigh” have jumped out at you. It’s only fitting, given that pretty much everyone not living under a rock knows this is THE epic finale to the blockbuster movie series that has spanned a decade.

So it’s perhaps fitting that the second clip unveiled from Deathly Hallows: Part 2 should continue that trend – by offering a glimpse at a scene in which we seemingly see the literal end of Harry Potter himself.

Obviously, those who have already read all of the original Harry Potter novels or watched the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 trailer before know that Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) are prepped to battle it out to the death in this film. Without spoiling the fun for anyone not familiar with the Deathly Hallows book, it’s fair to say that a few complications have to be dealt with before that can happen.

On the topic of SPOILERS: This first official Harry Potter clip definitely walks the fine line between being an intense tease of one of the most dramatic scenes in Deathly Hallows: Part 2 – and just giving away a big piece of information in advance. So although this video doesn’t really deserve a SPOILER ALERT warning, those unfamiliar with how things are set to go down in the film should still proceed with caution.

Even without watching this scene in context, everyone should be able to tell that this is a big moment for The Boy Who Lived in his fight against Voldemort and the forces of darkness. However, by the time this sequence pops up in Deathly Hallows: Part 2, even viewers who are unfamiliar with the original book(s) will have figured out that there's more of the story to be told.

While fans are already divided over whether or not this was a proper scene to reveal in advance from the last Harry Potter pic, there's no denying that it's an attention-grabbing one - and it should just make the truly devoted all the more excited to see this series of events play out on the big screen. Either way, you probably have goosebumps just from seeing new Deathly Hallows: Part 2 footage.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 finally hits theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D next month on July 15th.

  1. I’d use of the word ‘epic’to be a criminal offense.

    • Heh, is that word being used too often for your tastes, DSB? 8-)

I get what you mean, actually, but I’m still willing to argue that, when it concerns Deathly Hallows: Part 2, it’s pretty fitting.

      • I agree Sandy there is no other word for it its SUPER EPIC damn….. this is the best thing I have seen in a long time just wow…its mind blowing. This scene alone confirms that this will be the best Harry Potter. I CANT WAIT DAMNIT!!!!! :D

        • Super Epic is two words, and a borderline double negative. :)

      • It does tend to get thrown around an awful lot these days.

        • What other awesomely amazing fantastic word can we use? :D

          • Buy a thesaurus.

            • nah ill stick with epic ;)

              • Yes, I thought you might.

                • lol 8-)

  2. Oh and this link here has about 5-10 more seconds:

  3. Ahhh I cant decide if I should watch it!!

    • Christi its the best thing EVER

      • I have no doubt of that! I want to watch it so bad but I don’t know if I want to spoil it. Aaaaahhhhhh!

        • Im too weak to resist. :(

But I dont regret seeing it I can see it millions of times and not get tired of it.

          • I know me too. The only reason I haven’t watched it yet is because the video isn’t working on my phone. As soon as i get off of work I know I’m gonna watch it a million times. :D

            • Haha awesome post your reaction lol :)

              • I freakin love it. I can not wait! It’s seriously going to be so amazing. There is just one thing that keeps bothering me on the trailers….when Harry grabs Voldemort and says let’s finish this how we started it, together, and then takes him off the edge of the bridge….. I just hope that isn’t a huge part of the conclusion because if it was, they would totally be ruining the ending….Voldemort isn’t gonna die from falling off of the bridge! Oh well…we’ll see i guess.

                • Christi,

That scene is an added scene towards the end. It shows that Harry is not afraid to die but Voldemort IS because he does something before they hit the ground.

They are expanding the Voldy/Harry fight. Big time. Maybe like 10 min of it.

                  • I figured it was something of that nature, it just kept bugging me every time I saw it……and shouldn’t that already be implied by Harry meeting Voldemort in the forest? I know it is a stupid thing to nitpick about, but I don’t want anything to ruin the last movie!

                    • Yeah well, I think nothing can ruin this final movie. Theres a thing or two I dislike but overall I will LOVE it and it will be one of my favorite movies ever (if not MY FAVORITE) lol 8-)

                    • Yeah, I definitely feel the same way, as long as they don’t mess up any MAJOR plot lines or anything….but they did awesome in the last one so I have extremely high hopes for part 2.

  4. heres a better link:

  5. It’ll be beyond Epic for die hard Potter fans. There will be tears and we can all assume that the film will make buttloads of money

  6. Wow! This clip is impressively great, in other words EPIC! HEHEHE

    At least I googled a synonim! :P

Kidding aside I don’t think anyone imagined AVADA KEDABRA better than the way Ralph Fiennes says it!

  7. This will be an EPIC failure of EPIC proportions! In the EPIC scheme of things, history will record this EPIC monstrosity as a way to EPICally screw up a franchise.

Hi DrSam! And Rickster, put done the shotgun. :-D

    • LOL Kahless, I am not too hyped up about this either, Pt. ! sucked, IMO the worst of the films thus far :) WIll this top that as far as EPIC suckiness goes?

      • part 2 will smash part 1.

      • Actually, I am looking forward to seeing it. I was just giving DrSam and Rick a hard time. I do agree that part 1 was not very good.

        • Ok, am totally lost on this one. Why is my comment awaiting moderation?

  8. the movie will be awesome!!! and the clip was amazing although it did seem to be a bit spoilery

  9. part 1 was just like the book!!! so if you didnt like the movie of part 1 chances are you havent read the books. therefore your oppion does not count for squat!!!

    • Seriously! I loved part one… followed the book better than any of the other movies….

      • I 100% agree with that Christi…it is my favorite so far and Part 2 will top it definitely.

        • Mine too! Part 2 better top it! Just because part one was subtle, and they weren’t at Hogwarts, people didn’t like it….but if they were fans of the books, they would know that is how it happened in the books! People said it lost its magic, but that is exactly the tone that the seventh book sets!

          • I think part 1 deserved atleast one scene at hogwarts but it was still great. :)

    • So unless I read the book, I should not comment on any movie based on a book? I never read any HP books but I liked the first 3 movies. Does my opinion count on those? Good Lord!

      • I’ve never read the books either Kahless. I have them all, just reading for me these days is a luxury :( I comment on the movies, but never have I ever compared them to the books, why? Becuase I have yet to read them. I cant understand if one has never read the book series commenting on them Vs. the films, how a guy like Ricky or other HP fanatics might be upset about that though.

  10. voldemort has an opinion on the clip

    • …wow.

  11. this is gonna be too epic..

  12. Epically Epic.

  13. What comment lol.

  14. I found it strange while the books got better as thy went along, the films got progressively worse, thhey just lost the magic. DH pt 1 is easily my least favourite.

Harry Potter And The Eternal Camping Trip.
