There’s this little pic called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 that arrives in theaters near the end of this month and apparently there are a fair number of people out there looking forward to it. 😉
Warner Bros. has unveiled two more behind-the-scenes featurettes for the part 1 of the last installment in their blockbuster boy wizard franchise, which amps up the action, drama, and suspense from the last Harry Potter adventure (which was at times pretty dark and intense, on its own).
Chances are that most of those reading this article are avid fans of the Harry Potter books and know exactly what the plot of Deathly Hallows encompasses. Those that are familar with the films only (we’re not judging) have a general idea of what to expect – namely, that Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) must both find and destroy the Horcruxes, which hold the key to Lord Voldemort’s immortality – while living as fugitives out in the countryside, since the Dark Lord’s forces have taken control of the Ministry of Magic.
Those excited to hear the cast and crew behind the Harry Potter movies delve into details concerning both the early portion of the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 narrative and the nature of the Horcruxes themselves should quite enjoy watching these new featurettes. Be warned – anyone who wants to watch the seventh boy wizard adventure and know nothing about the plot, these videos are full of SPOILERS.
Check out the latest Deathly Hallows: Part 1 featurettes below:
The three main stars of the Harry Potter franchise get to do a whole lot of running, yelling, and crying in both halves of Deathly Hallows and look to have risen to the occasion quite nicely. Radcliffe, Grint, and Watson have each come a long way since the first Harry Potter movie was released back in 2001 and will get to truly showcase their vastly-improved acting chomps in the series finale.
We’ve gone on before about the sleek, dark cinematography of the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 footage released so far and how the movie looks to be very engaging and crammed full of fast-paced action and cool visual FX. Who else is ready for this film to just be released in theaters already?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 arrives in regular and IMAX theaters in the U.S. on November 19th, 2010. Part 2 arrives in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on July 15th, 2011.
