Fans haven’t exactly gone hungry when it comes to promo material for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, with a wealth of trailers, TV spots and characters posters having already been released. However, if you’re still hungry for more Harry Potter then we have another new look at the movie via a behind-the-scenes featurette.

From what we’ve seen of Deathly Hallows thus far it seems to give off the vibe that this really is the end of the line for this epic franchise. After nine years and six movies, everything has been building to this final two-part showdown between Harry, Ron, Hermione and the evil He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.

The latest behind the scenes featurette continues to focus on the fact that this is end of the road for Harry Potter. It takes a look back at the previous films and features various cast and crew members talking about the first part of Deathly Hallows.

Check out the featurette below:

Both parts of Deathly Hallows were originally planned to be released in the ever-popular 3D format, which meant that not only would fans have to pay for two separate movies in order to find out what happens at the end of the franchise but also the extra cost of 3D ticket prices.

However, surprising news surfaced a little while back that Warner Bros. is NOT going to release Deathly Hallows Part 1 in 3D because they can’t get the post-conversion done in time for the November 19th release date. Finally a studio decides against rushing the 3D in order to give fans the best experience possible.

Those who dislike 3D (especially poorly handled post-conversion 3D) can now comfortably enjoy Part 1 of Deathly Hallows in regular old 2D come next month. But those who were looking forward to the 3D aspect can still look forward to Part 2 being in that format, as well as the past six Harry Potter movies being converted to 3D. So everybody wins, right?

3D or no 3D I’m sure Deathly Hallows will give the Harry Potter franchise the epic, magical and exciting conclusion it deserves. Fans have stuck with the series for a decade so they deserve nothing less.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will hit IMAX and regular theaters on November 19th, 2010. Part 2 will follow next summer in 3D, IMAX and regular theaters on July 15th, 2011.
