Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows More Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Character Banners

Last week Warner Bros. released character banners for the three main players from this year’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 – Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson).

Now we have seven new character-oriented one-sheets for the next Harry Potter pic, which the most recent  Deathly Hallows trailer indicates should be the darkest and most intense chapter in the continuing story of the boy wizard and his battle against the snake-faced villain known as Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).

These new character posters offer another look at the weathered (also, in Harry and Ron’s case, scruffy) condition of the franchise’s heros, as well as a peek at You-Know-Who himself and his cronies: the psychotic Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter), the werewolf Fenrir Greyback (British cage fighter Dave Legeno) and Severus Snape (Alan Rickman), who (seemingly) showed his true colors at the conclusion of the sixth movie, Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince.

David Yates helmed both Half-Blood Prince and its predecessor, Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix. He sat in the director’s chair for both halves of Deathly Hallows, which were scripted once again by Steve Kloves, the fellow responsible for penning all but the fifth Harry Potter film. If the early footage from Deathly Hallows is any indication, the two look to finish off the franchise with a bang.

We posted a SPOILER-FREE advanced review for Deathly Hallows: Part 1 back in August and it indicated that the film should satisfy both devoted Harry Potter book fans and more casual moviegoers alike. Radcliffe, Grint, Watson, and the rest of the young wizard cast have literally grown up and matured over the course of this series, so it will be fun to watch them play their respective characters on the big screen one last time in the two-part finale.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 arrives in regular, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters in the U.S. on November 19th, 2010. Part 2 will follow on July 15th, 2011.

Thats what ima do too ;)

    • my fav is the new Snape entitled “The Hunt Is On”. Gotta see it want it.

  2. I wish Voldemort’s eyes were more snake-like.

  3. I think they are snake like,i mean can you make them more snake like?? I love it…

  4. They do look really good. I agree with you Rick. Ralph Feinnes does a fantastic job as Voldemort. I was excited about him from day one because his an amazing actor.

    • Yes,i loved his performance in GOF better than OOTP. Im confident that his performance in both parts will be spectacular, after all this is HIS moment to shine :D

  5. HA. Ron’s all the way at the bottom. Guy can’t ever come out on top. X-D

  6. Wow! That Fenrir poster looks great! Well, they all do. But that one stood out to me.

    • Fenrir looks creepy as hell i agree…

  7. I hate that they all say HP7. Do you really need to abbreviate on a poster? In a text message, fine. On a comment blog, OK I guess if you’re short on time. But on a poster is just ridiculous. It’s not like you have a word count that you need to keep down. All it is is laziness.

    • I agree,id like the whole logo on there…

  8. WTF? NOOOOOO!!!! My gravitar changed HOW? I was saving this pic for november :( DAMMIT!

  9. love the posters!! cannot wait for november

    • Neither can i,iam so ready…

  10. Am I gonna be the first to say that I liked the Hermione poster better? She’s hot, I’ll say it. Greyback’s and Snape’s are pretty damn cool. Too much light on Voldermort’s, he needed to be the darkest one and it’s the one with most light.

Rickopolis, are you in LA? I might get some tickets for the premiere!

    • Alex no im not im in Arizona :( I used to live in LA…DAMMIT!And we all know hermiones hot i have a monster crush on that woman 8-)

  11. I can’t wait for this movie!! All the posters are amazing…I can’t even pick a favorite. I love how Harry and Ron have stubble though. And Greyback’s cracked teeth. All the detail is amazing. :D

  12. HP7 part 1 will NOT be released in 3D! >:(
