It was a great and very tragic book, but for those of you expecting a face off with harry, voldemort, or dumbledore, you're probably going to be dissapointed. I suggest going to the website for the 6th movie if you want to learn more, i read all the books but don't want to spoil it. although let me say that this is going to be the movie with the most kissing. can't wait till the deathly hallows, that book is the best of the series by a landslide.

Dumbledore's reflection is foreshadowing. That particular poster is very well done - both the transparent nature of the image of Dumbledore and the reflection overlaying Harry is very telling of major events that take place in HBP.

Hey..the face of Dumbledore on Harry's specs are a part of the story... if u guys read it you will understand the whole scenerio..

wow ross miller; you really out done yourself this time. these posters rock. i like the first one the most; harry potter face and his glasses are cool. i also like the HP6 in the bottom right.

These posters are fantastic. I have read all the books and I agree that you really don't have to read them to follow the movies. My only wish is that in the first 5 movies there is at least one scene from the book that I think should have been in the movie to possibly help set some things up in the last 3 movies (Half-Blood Prince and the 2 Deathly Hallows movies).

I have read all books, and i am super excited about the movie. I can't wait to see it. It is going to be a tragic movie. I remember crying in the book.
  • You shouldn't have to read the source material to enjoy the movie - it's a different medium and you should be able to enjoy it even if you know squat about it beforehand.
  • I personally haven't read the Harry Potter books, but it's on my list of books to read in the near future. I stopped following this series for a few years, until I happened to see Order of the Phoenix in my hotel room on my vacation, and got sucked into the series again. I'm looking forward to this movie, and those posters do, indeed, look slick.

I agree with Lord Garth. Please read the books. Incredible story. While I am excited to see the movie, reading it when it came out was a stupendous moment. I devoured it in two days. Of course I wont spoil anything for anyone, but this book sets the pace of things to come.

Did anyone here actually read the book here???

    Please do a great read.
  • Well perhaps not a face off between Harry and Dumbledore but maybe one with Harry and Dumbledore facing off against Voldemort - sort of a team-up(?)

These posters look great. I've never read the novels either but I doubt Dumbledore and Harry will face-off; I think the reflection would have been Voldemort if it was a face-off.
