The Hangover 2 Teaser Trailer

2 years ago by Rob Keyes

hangover 2 teaser trailer The Hangover 2 Teaser Trailer

The self-proclaimed “Wolfpack” are back and off to another wild, drunken adventure for The Hangover Part II. This time however, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) are off to Thailand to celebrate Stu’s wedding on what they thought would be a trip safer and calmer then their Vegas excursion.

The Hangover won the hearts and laughs of moviegoers in the summer of 2009, managing to rake in almost half a billion dollars at the worldwide box office on a small production budget of $35 million. Now, with significantly higher paychecks and expectations, director Todd Phillips and crew are travelling abroad and our first look at their adventure comes with this teaser trailer for The Hangover 2.

The Hangover 2 teaser trailer doesn’t offer much in terms of new jokes or scenes, but it does enough in simply showing us the characters to whet our appetitive, overlayed with quotes from positive reviews of the first film. Just seeing Galifianakis’ get-up and Helms’ tattoo sells it for me. And then there’s the monkey who joins them on their slow-mo walk.

Expect the full Hangover 2 trailer to debut soon, hopefully give us a look at new cast members Liam Neeson and Paul Giamatti. Let’s not forget that there’s also a big cameo from former President Bill Clinton, but I that’s saved for the movie and not spoiled in the trailer.

The Hangover Part II is one of most anticipated movies of 2011 and here is the official synopsis:

In the follow-up to the record-breaking hit comedy ‘The Hangover,’ Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.

The Hangover Part II hits theaters on May 26th, 2011.

This trailer is a snooze-fest. No Mel Gibson. No Hangover 2 for me.

Did you skip out on The Dark Knight and Avatar because there was no Mel Gibson cameo in them? If the fact that the Mel Gibson cameo fell through is the reason you aren’t seeing this movie, then you probably weren’t going to see it anyway.

Since when does anyone go to a comedy for Mel Gibson. Get over it.

Maybe he’s responding to the fact that and “edgy” comedy like this dropped Gibson due to controversy. Which smells like a “wuss” move considering the sort of movies these are.

Or I could be completely wrong. 8)

Wierd that the official synopsis mentions the main characters: Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) AND Doug (Justin Bartha) but Doug isn’t even featured in the trailer.

    Odd …

Is that a Mike Tyson-like face tattoo? And Zach with a shaved head?

Looks like it’s going to be good

The only problem I have with a second one is that I think they should’ve learned their lesson the first time…

Doug will very obviously get separated from The Wolfpack again. I’m sure this one is gonna be epic too.
God I loved the first one.

The first one was hilarious!!! I hope this one is just as funny, if not better. Is Liam Neeson doing this “Hangover”?
