A newly leaked set photo from the upcoming young Han Solo Star Wars anthology movie showcases a desert world in the galaxy far, far away - one that possibly could be the smuggler's home. Fans are impatiently counting down the days until Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out and continues the Skywalker saga, but the second spinoff film is well into production to make its May 2018 release date. Though plot details are being kept under wraps for now (par for the course for Lucasfilm), some videos and images have highlighted star Alden Ehrenreich's costume and some of the vehicles he'll race.

Each Star Wars movie has added new planets to the ever expanding universe, so many expect Han Solo won't be any different. Nothing has been confirmed so far, but some fans expect to see Han's home world of Corellia on the big screen for the first time. Time will tell if that will be the case, though a new picture taken from the movie's Fuerteventura set have viewers speculating Corellia is now confirmed.

Appearing on Canarias7 (hat tip Star Wars News Net), the image admittedly doesn't show much in terms of what the location is. The only clues are that this is another desert landscape for the franchise and it has a collection of abandoned hut-like structures. SWNN notes that it has a "junkyard feel," with old podracer engines and various other scrap laying around. The original report from Canarias7 claims that Fuerteventura will be used to play the planet Corellia, mentioning the citizens of the world live in "damaged igloos and under the remains of ships." However, this seems unlikely due to the nature of Corellia. In keeping with the old Legends description of the world, the official canon Corellia has a temperate climate with forests, jungles, and urban areas. Corellia has largely just been mentioned by name in a plethora of Star Wars novels, but it was showcased throughout the Aftermath trilogy, so the studio is not going to deviate from what has already been established. It's more plausible the earlier photos (which have vehicles bearing the Imperial logo) are taken from scenes on Corellia. As for this specific one, a more convincing theory would be Tatooine - the planet that's played an integral role in the saga.

Given that five of the eight live-action films to date have featured the desert world in some capacity, there are probably some fans wishing Lucasfilm would look beyond the twin suns. While that's understandable, Tatooine factoring into Han Solo is logical. In A New Hope, it was evident Solo had much history in the underworld there, frequenting the Mos Eisley cantina and having a longstanding relationship with Jabba the Hutt. It wouldn't be surprising if the planet popped up if only for a scene or two, highlighting more key events from Han's youth. The movie supposedly covers the smuggler from ages 18-24, meaning it ends a few years prior to Episode IV. By that point in time, he'd probably already done numerous jobs for Jabba. Hopefully, the Lucasfilm panel at D23 will be the source of new reveals and information, painting a clearer picture of what to expect.
