"...such talent as Joseph Fiennes, John Cho, Jack Davenport and Courtney B. Vance"... Not one of them makes me excited about it. The answer(s) we'll apparantly get do.
I'm kind of curious which show you mean by "answering mysteries from another show that never materialized".
By the way, I think the show that's truly gonna replace Lost will present itself a year or two after the Lost finale.

Its very nice to know that whatever happens,
We will have answers at the end of the year.
While I think its nice to have a self contained first season,
some people might not like the format change in season 2 .
Not everybody Reads Screen Rant !
A lot of people wont see it coming.

This looks like something that I will be watching, especially since Smallville is now on Friday nights instead of Thursdays.

BTW, Google ads are covering part of the picture. I don't know what the problem with Google ads are, but this is not the only site where that problem occurs.

Sounds like Skynet is growing. :-)

I've said it once, I'll say it again, this sounds better as a movie. I don't know if there's enought to make a good series out of it.

Lost. They've keyed in on things I've been curious about and said they'd fill in details that never materialize.

My problem with Lost in the beginning exactly. Now one of my favorite shows, ´cause they do fill in the details, slowly, very slowly. Hopefully everything they set up over the years will come together next year.
FlashForward: great pilot episode | disappointing 2nd to 6th episode | slowly getting better from the 7th towards ep. 13 (if it's a 13-episodes season), but many viewers may have left the show by then.
