Nebula Karen Gillan One Sheet Guardians of the Galaxy World Premiere Photos & Villain Posters

In just over a week Guardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters worldwide and while press had the opportunity to see the film over the weekend for the film’s junket (stay tuned for our video interviews!) the world premiere took place yesterday evening at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood before the cast appeared together on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Before we take a look at who showed up at the red carpet (page 2 for that), first we have a few more Guardians of the Galaxy character posters. Supporting characters Yondu (Michael Rooker), Nova Prime (Glenn Close) and Nova Corpsman Rhomann Dey (John C. Reilly) all got their own posters last week, and since then three were released for the primary antagonists of the film.

Below are the new one-sheets for Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace), Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), along with another new one that came after for The Collector (Benicio Del Toro).

  1. M-M-M My Sharona!

  2. The world premiere was yesterday? That makes me wonder the theater that shows the advanced screening I’m attending on Thursday claims that they will show a live broadcast from the “world premiere in London” before the movie. They probably meant European premire and made a mistake.

  3. don’t know why, but seeing all these photos of the premier makes me more excited for the movie.

Maybe it is just because Benicio Del Toro looks so badass.

    • He’s the Puerto Rican Brad Pitt. 😀

      • Actually, he resembles Javier Bardem. Especially with that unshaven beard.

        • Nah, Javier Bardem is the Spanish Jeffrey Dean Morgan. 😉

          • Jeffrey Dean Morgan, of course, is the American Gerard Butler…

  4. Matthew Lillard?

    • yeah, he’s the american Udo Kier.

  5. Vin Diesel and Bradley didn’t even try. Maybe there wasn’t a strict dress code but they have to at least show some kind of effort!!!

  6. Does anyone else think the Nova Corps helmets look a little goofy? They kind of remind me of Lannister helmets. Hopefully they’ll be changed by the time Richard Rider is introduced.

    • I think they look cool. They look a bit like Judge Dredd’s helmet. I think the ones in the comic were more Spartan-esque, so it looks like they’ve gone for a more techno look instead of ancient armoured.

    • IMO they look cool BUT the color needs to inverted. What’s gold make gray and what’s gray make gold. Bcuz what they got now can be easily confused with the Black Novas.

    • Actually the nova corps remind me of the Hydra uniform from the first Cap film

  7. July 31st can’t come soon enough!

  8. That Yondu poster is pretty awesome! 😀

  9. Matthew Lillard should be in a marvel movie. random thought

  10. Vin Diesel looks like Pitbull from afar, lol.

  11. Just a random thought, anybody else think there’s a chance for a Fandral cameo in this movie? With Levi in attendance here and Sif and Volstagg’s little trip to visit the Collector at the end of Thor: The Dark World?

    • Love it! Finally a proper look at the tone that is removed from the trailer editing, which can often be deceiving.

  12. The Nova suit z jst wrng hope ey chnge it by GOTG 2

  13. Thanks for uploading those pics! So excited to see this on the 31st!!!!

  14. if they’re in space what are the human looking people supposed to be? space humans? or did they establish that everybody but star lord is a pink kree if they look human. and where does that leave djimon hounsou? is he a ruul kree?

    • Well, Asgardians look human as well, don’t they? And Rocket looks like a raccoon but isn’t one. It’s a bit late to complain about that. Chalk it down to convergent evolution or creative license, whichever you prefer. 😉

      • yeah but thats my point, asgardians are ASGAURDIAN. they are defined as such. marvel has a bunch of aliens to choose from. i simply wanted to know what they are.

        • Why not wait until the movie comes out before complaining about it?

          • does it really sound (look) like complaing? im just expressing my curiosity.

        • Oh, sorry. I misunderstood you.

  15. This was the very first red carpet event I watched live (online, of course I wasn’t there). I’m not usually into these self-promotion things like this, but it was pretty cool to watch, especially considering that much of the people involved are fairly humble. James Gunn, and especially Dave Baustista, who admitted he felt a little uncomfortable with all the attention!

It was fantastic to watch live, and Bradley Cooper appeared to be slightly buzzed…LOL
