Update: We attended the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout grand opening!

Stan Lee's latest Marvel cameo has been revealed - and it's at Disneyland. The Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission - BREAKOUT! ride has officially opened at Disney's California Adventure Park, featuring all of the heroes from Marvel's mega-hit Guardians of the Galaxy franchise as Rocket attempts to break them out of The Collector's (Benicio del Toro) fortress.

Replacing the former Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the main attraction of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission - BREAKOUT! is the "free-fall" from the top of the fortress as Rocket and the heroes escape. But there will be plenty of appearances of Marvel heroes and villains along the way - and, of course, no Marvel attraction these days is complete without a cameo from Mr. Marvel himself, Stan Lee.

A new photo from inside the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission - BREAKOUT! ride reveals Lee's cameo appearance during the attraction. Instagram user englishpauliewallie posted the photo on Friday, giving the first glimpse at the former Marvel Comics president's special appearance in the lobby of the ride.

Lee, of course, makes cameos in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies, with his appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 revealing what his true role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been all along.

The publicist attended and posted other photos and videos from the opening ceremony for the ride on Friday at California Adventure Park, which featured an appearance by Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn. Another peek inside the ride came courtesy of a recent video from Disneyland, revealing the ride's appearances of Nova Corps, Ultron, and many other MCU references. Mission: BREAKOUT! even features extra footage of Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster left over from Thor: Ragnarok, which has yet to be revealed.

Needless to say, fans of the former Tower of Terror and the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise who visit Disneyland, the is obviously a must-rise. And now the ride is open to the public, you can expect this to be only the first time that footage from inside the attraction surfaces on social media.

For now, California Adventure Park is the only place to find Mission: BREAKOUT!, so fans who don't live close to the Anaheim, California area will have to travel to experience it. Similarly, Disney/Marvel's other new ride Iron Man Experience can only be found in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland. But Guardians of the Galaxy devotees will no doubt find a way to get themselves onto Mission: BREAKOUT! one way or another.
