Fans worried about the status of Green Lantern Corps. can rest assured as the film is still in development. According to David S. Goyer, who is co-writing the script, the movie is "still in the works." Fans had become concerned that Justice League's lack of success would affect other upcoming films in the DC Extended Universe.
In October of 2014, Warner Bros. announced plans for a Green Lantern film. The title was revealed to be Green Lantern Corps. in the summer of the following year, which suggests that the movie won't focus on just one protagonist, unlike the 2011 box office disaster, Green Lantern, which had Ryan Reynolds in the lead role. In January of 2017, David S. Goyer and Justin Rhodes were hired to pen the script, and a release date of July 24, 2020 was set.

At the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, David S. Goyer was promoting Krypton when speaking to IGN about the current state of Green Lantern Corps. Goyer says the film is "still in the works" but also acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding the status of films in the DCEU. Goyer couldn't explain when fans would receive updates on the movie's development.
I don't know. Who knows, especially with what's currently going on with the DC universe? There's obviously a whole recalibration happening with that right now.
As for his comments about what's "currently going on with the DC universe," Goyer is referring to the possibility that Justice League's failure could impact the DCEU's upcoming projects. Since Justice League failed to meet Warner Bros.' expectations, it puts the future of the DCEU in doubt. So far, however, DC Films has shown no interest in adjusting their slate in response to Justice League.
There are plenty of DC films in active development - Batgirl, Nightwing, The Batman, Gotham City Sirens, and Deathstroke - but none of which have release dates. Since there have been very little updates on Green Lantern Corps., some fans are anticipating that the film will be pushed back to a later date to make room for another film.
Though few details have been revealed as to what to expect from Green Lantern Corps., what we do know is that two key Green Lanterns from the comics, Hal Jordan and John Stewart, will be featured in the movie. A member of the Green Lantern Corps. also made an appearance in a flashback scene in Justice League.
