Despite a mixed reaction to Suicide Squad, one of the biggest takeaways from the film was Margot Robbie's portrayal of Harley Quinn. The response was overwhelmingly positive, which is why it was hardly a surprise when Gotham City Sirens came around. The film will still keep Harley in the lead, and according to director David Ayer, it may also feature Poison Ivy and Catwoman as the other two major characters joining the all-female villain team.

Amidst the announcement of the film, fan castings and rumored interest amongst Hollywood players immediately followed. In the latter category was Megan Fox, who found herself involved in a rumor she may be looking to land the role of Poison Ivy. If that's difficult for you to imagine, the inevitable fan art depicting as much has come to your rescue. And as an added bonus, the artist in question has also brought along Cloverfield and Banshee star Odette Annable as Catwoman.

Artist BossLogic has photoshopped his interpretation of the actresses in the respective roles. Even though there's so far been no hint in terms of casting made by anyone involved in the film -- either Warner Bros. or the filmmakers -- BossLogic's renditions do present two compelling casting options.

Lighting Fix - I happen to love @meganfox so I modified my IVY piece to have fun with the rumours :) #GothamCitySirens pic.twitter.com/d4O5IJNU4K— BossLogic (@Bosslogic) December 15, 2016

Created @OdetteAnnable as cat woman because I think she is dope and badass, check her out in Banshee to see what I mean #GothamCitySirens pic.twitter.com/PQmHHxHDAv— BossLogic (@Bosslogic) December 17, 2016

Fox has been tentatively linked to the role since stating her interest in playing Poison Ivy in an interview a while back. The internet has a long memory for that sort of thing, which, when coupled with the alleged information that she's been doing some research by ordering Poison Ivy-centric comic books, puts her in contention as far as fan conversation and conjecture goes. Obviously with Fox being a topic of conversation, it makes sense that an artist like BossLogic would want to jump in on the discussion.

Of course the opposite is true of BossLogic's depiction of Annable as Catwoman. The actress's name hasn't been volleyed around much in terms of grabbing a major role in such a high-profile film, so perhaps the artist was simply entering in his choice for who he thinks should play the part. It's certainly an unexpected nomination, but the image does make Annable a fascinating choice. Besides, as was demonstrated on Banshee, Annable definitely has what it take to handle a physical role with lots of fighting, so maybe BossLogic is on to something.

Either way, the art shows that through the magic of Photoshop both actresses could look the part.  Only time will tell if either gets a shot at these high-profile roles, though.
