I guess I am going to have to wait for the trailer, since the trailer’s trailer doesn’t seem to be working on my browser (Opera).

I really hope the trailer, er, I mean movie, is more impressive than that commercial. It looked like a movie-of-the-week (like the Bill Bixby Hulk vs. Thor, ok not that bad).

Side note on the ‘commercial for a trailer’ debate above, this IS Mtv afterall. I’ll be surprised if the trailer isn’t hosted by Lil Jon or have people typing comments TRL-style.

I imagine they did this in lieu of the Iron Man/Lost trailer when they “mis-announced” which week it was going to air.

I’d say this is the right thing to do.

Trailers are as much of an event as the movie (hype built on hype). Think about how much people on Screenrant anticipate the next IM or TDK trailer (TDK is gonna rule BTW) – it seems only natural that ads would appear letting people know that a trailer is about to be released.

Then there’s the Superbowl – every year it becomes more and more about the commercials than the game. Soon there will be commercials for the commercials to appear during the SB, or has that already happened?

The next step is to get ratings up on the various sci-fi shows that keep getting canceled by attracting viewers with trailers for upcoming movies. I guess it’s because the movie studio wants the trailer to show during a ‘popular’ show like Lost, it’s a shame.

LOL! We are REALLY desperate…..

….and I watched it.

Coolest scene was when his eyes turned green there at the end…like the old TV show.

But can we see the REAL thing already????? Dammit!
