the trilogy meter is highly inaccurate. half of them aren’t even trilogies.
I think it’s a skillful troll.
yeah i disagree with a lot of those meters. lol. some are just plain messed up.
Maybe this should be “The First Three Films of the Series Meter” because, as already mentioned, most of these aren’t even trilogies. I do hope that that’s the Original Star Wars trilogy they’re referring too…
@darthballs
I agree, Some of them have more than 3 movies, and not to mention, who would really rate Die Hard 2, easily the worst of the 4, better than Die Hard 3???
Every time I think Star Wars can’t become any more superfluous, it seeps into another mundane corner of existence.
Those pictures of 3P0 and R2 on the wall of the Well of Souls in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” have proven strangely prophetic. Every image from the franchise is now a meaningless alien glyph that litters the desolate landscape of our culture.
It’s like how The Simpsons eventually became a reference symbiote. The show is made more special when it features someone like the killer from “No Country For Old Men” and he becomes more special when he appears on The Simpsons. Nothing else is accomplished. It’s entirely mindless and mechanical.
That’s what the cake is.
i have to say that trilogy meter was pretty much spot on.
Out of that group of 18 I would consider 5 of them true “trilogies”. The rest of them just milked it to earn what they could.
Ok, that Star Wars Gangnam style video was VERY disappointing. I only clicked play because of the text “Han always shoots first” under it, I was hoping to see Han shoot and KILL the idiot doing that retarded ass song and dance… That would have been satisfying… But it just disappointed me…
Han always shootS first
LOL
