With Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact arriving next month, a lot of fans have turned their attention toward the newest update. Thanks to the 1.6 beta test, several characters and mechanics have leaked online already. However, now developer miHoYo has confirmed some changes coming to the game's housing system and Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact 1.6.

Ahead of the next update, beta leaks from Genshin Impact 1.6 showed off new playable characters like Kazahu, the long-awaited Inazuma region, and boat travel. Electro buffs and rumored characters like Ayaka are also expected to arrive in the new content. So far, miHoYo has not officially confirmed many of these aspects for Version 1.6. This kind of news traditionally comes from one of the developer's livestreams. However, multiple Serenitea Pot and housing changes have not been officially confirmed.

This latest news comes via HoYoLAB, where miHoYo hosts their fan forums and shares dev logs. In the newest dev log, it's revealed that the housing system and Serenitea Pot will get updates and changes based around player feedback. Version 1.6 will increase the load limit of the Serenitea Pot and its second floor will finally be accessible as well. Crafting is also an important part of the housing system, since players want to make decor for their homes. Thankfully, this will be getting enhancements, too.

Genshin Impact 1.6 Housing & Co-Op Crafting Changes Explained

Currently, making items with the Crafting Bench while in Co-Op Mode isn't possible. It's been a major annoyance with fans since Version 1.5 released, and it's thankfully being fixed in Version 1.6. Starting with the next update, the Crafting Bench can now be used while playing with friends in Co-Op Mode. In this respect, it's just another way miHoYo is making co-op in Genshin Impact even better.

While these features have all been confirmed for 1.6, there are a few new features miHoYo is teasing. The first is paved roads coming to the game's housing system. The dev log doesn't explicitly claim it's coming in Version 1.6, but rather Paimon coyly mentions it. Another expected feature is the ability for Companion Move-Ins, which allows players to move characters they've acquired into their homes. miHoYo states it's working on this feature, but Companion Move-Ins aren't confirmed for Version 1.6 quite yet.

The housing system in Genshin Impact is a fun way to create a home for the player's character and craft some nice decor. It's a leisurely break from the battles and main story, and it's great that miHoYo has listened to fans when it comes to making housing and Serenitea Pot improvements. These changes in Version 1.6 will hopefully make crafting with friends in Genshin Impact a fun, new possibility.
