Version 1.5 of Genshin Impact is set to release this week, bringing in new playable characters, a housing system, and more. As usual, the latest update also includes several new events for players to participate in. In 1.5, the Hangout Events series is returning, this time allowing players to spend more time with Diona while also continuing Noelle's story.
The Hangout Events series was first introduced as a part of Version 1.4, but Genshin Impact 1.5 will continue letting players spend extra time with characters they love. This time around, the characters are Diona and Noelle. Although Noelle was already a part of Hangout Events last time, this will continue her story with Noelle's Hangout Event: Act II. Meanwhile, Diona will be a part of this event series for the very first time.
In order to participate in the Hangout Events, players will first need to reach Adventurer Rank 26 or higher to unlock this feature in Genshin Impact. In order to unlock the individual Hangouts themselves, players will need to use Story Keys. By completing Daily Commissions, players can earn Story Keys - with one Story Key being rewarded for every eight Daily Commissions completed. Regular players may already have Story Keys saved up, while others may need to spend time on Daily Commissions first.
Genshin Impact 1.5: How To Unlock Noelle and Diona Hangouts
In order to unlock Noelle's second Hangout Event, players will need to have completed all endings in Noelle's first Hangout Event in Version 1.4. They'll also have to have completed Act III of the Archon Quest story quest, "A New Star Approaches." This means players will have needed to put in quite a bit of time and work with Noelle already before being able to access the next part of her Hangout Events story.
In order to unlock Diona's Hangout Event, players will need to have completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III - "Song of the Dragon and Freedom." Since this is Diona's first time being a part of Genshin Impact's Hangout Events series, the only other requirements are being Adventurer Rank 26 and having the necessary Story Keys to unlock it.
The Hangout Events series was a pretty big hit in Genshin Impact's last update, so it's great to see more being added in Version 1.5. Although Diona and Noelle are confirmed for the latest update, it's likely even more characters will be a part of the event later on, or in the Version 1.6 update.
