There’s a definite problem with a religion cooked up by one guy trying to sell movie tickets. Imagine you’ve converted to the Jedi religion on the faith inherent in the Star Wars original trilogy, just to have that faith yanked out from under you in the prequels. The cognitive dissonance is real test of faith – or something like that. May the fourth be with you.

  1. May the 4th be with us all!

  2. Slightly disappointed there was no press release from Disney to announce the returning cast for Episode 7. Of all days it makes most sense for it to be on this day, yet they keep us waiting longer.

    • It’s still kinda early. I’m sure next year will be a different story.

      • They’ll start filming next year, so the news needs to break sometime this year. I was convinced it was today as George Lucus did say not that long ago that Disney had a big announcement planned.

  3. Test, test, baby, 1.2

  4. I have an old Games Master magazine from 1993 that has a massive article on home made Star Wars movies with people trying to win some sort of official LucasFilm goodies.

One thing I remember loving the sound of was a scene with regular cars turned into TIE Fighters and X-Wings in a chase down a tunnel in a busy city firing at each other with fireworks.

Another was a comedy version with the joke “Now I know why it’s called a lightsaber, it’s not very heavy, is it?”. Someone else used their pet dog as Chewbacca.

  5. Just a little over 2 years until Star Wars:Episode 7,so until then May The 4th Be With You.

  6. Not trying to be THAT guy, but in the “How Star Wars Characters Eat Their Food” video, they kinda stuffed up the Rancor bit….

  7. Any reason why Disney hasn’t said anything about Episode VII?

  8. Thanks for sharing.
