The latest clip from Game of Thrones‘ ‘The Game Revealed’ series shows how the HBO drama brought Jon Snow and Drogon together. For two decades, fans have been speculating that Jon Snow is secretly a Targaryen. While George R.R. Martin never confirmed it, plenty of evidence has abounded. When Game of Thrones arrived on TV, it did so with a number of hints of its own. With the most recent two seasons, fans were finally vindicated when it was revealed Jon was not only a Targaryen, but the true heir to the Iron Throne.

While this news will complicate Jon and Daenerys’ newfound romance, it will also open up plenty of interesting story opportunities. One of the most exciting possibilities is the chance for Jon to join Dany on one of her dragons. This is another theory that’s been going around for awhile, and it seems all the more likely given the tense meeting Jon and Drogon had this season.

HBO has released a clip from the latest episode of their behind-the-scene series for Game of Thrones. Exploring the fifth episode of the season, viewers are shown how the scene with Jon, Dany, and Drogon came together. Given how much CGI is used to bring the dragons to life, the actors on the show are presented with a unique challenge when interacting with the creatures. Luckily, the team behind the episode and actor Kit Harington were able to sell the moment.

The clip is just the latest look we’ve had behind the scenes at the most recent season of the show. Earlier videos highlighted the White Walkers, Arya and Brienne’s epic fight, and the work that went into the premiere episode. While only subscribers get access to the full episodes of the new series, the glimpses HBO has provided offer some interesting insight into the show.

As season 7 moves more into the rearview, season 8 is gearing up. Earlier today, we learned who the directors of the new season will be, and a number of fan-favorites will be back. Among them will be director Miguel Sapochnik and cinematographer Fabian Wagner, both of whom previously worked together on seminal episodes like ‘Hardhome’ and ‘Battle of the Bastards.’ Along with the returning directors, the series’ creators will be tackling the final moments of the show. All told, the action of the last 6 episodes looks to have some deft hands, and there’s sure to be plenty of moments between Jon and the dragons when Game of Thrones returns.
