After the show turned into a glorified soap opera, I figured the end had to be near. Right now, it's looking like the "Joey" spinoff will take the place of Friends on Thursday nights. Yippee... There's another new show I won't be watching. TV and movies in general seriously underplay the tremendous responsibility of being a parent, but that's to be expected. People watch TV and movies to escape from the dull drudgery of life, and they can't be bothered with harsh reminders of the real world.
