If I don’t break through soon and I don’t get involved with Friday the 13th films, it just won’t be right. They screwed up some details in the new 2009 movie that shuld not have been messed up. The movie was cool, but somethings in the story are not right. & once you start a series like this off with holes, it’s hard to fix. Are they just going to dissapoint the legion Of Jason Fans around the world with there stupity and lack of love and passion for this character, and seemingly play just to the box office. Not really caring about the story? you can do both 100 % there doesn’t have to be a drop off anywhere. . .

The Halloween 2007 remake or reboot, whatever, really, really sucked. I barely seen it this year. I seriously have not finished it. I took it out during the part where Danielle Harris is about to get slashed. I’m glad it was on sale and I got the DVD for only 3 bucks. The Friday the 13th Remake, I seen opening night and still enjoy watching. Except for those horrible making love scenes. In my opinion, it is the best in the series. I can’t believe they didn’t follow up on it quicker. I’m not too crazy about it setting place in the snow. I would rather it be like the original 1981 Friday the 13th sequel. It would be awesome if it were to be in 3-D.

Ok, first off I liked Zombie’s version of Halloween and yes I think of both parts as being one movie like I do Carpenter’s. Secondly I would love to see Jason in the winter. There’s just something really cool about seeing blood on the snow. Final note, as much as I hate to say it but when was the last really good Carpenter flick to come out? Luckily, I’ve only now really gotten into Argento.

yes i agree the reboot isnt all that great but at least it didnt have alice going crazy like rob zombie did with laurie strode from halloween i hope if there is a 3d version in it that maybe whoever makes this film will make a better film story wise and not put it in 3d just to sell tickets. and if scout doesnt want to be in halloween 3d she needs to remmber that she was in 2 and 2 was the worst halloween movie ever i think i will stick with the 1978 version carpenter rules anyway over zombie he shouldnt had been hired for the remake to halloween making that decision was like warner hiring john boorman when they did exorcist 2 back in the late 70′s if hollywood continues to make remakes or do sequels at least come up with some better ideas there will never be another group of film makes like carpenter,cunningham,don cosarelli, and william friedkin these guys know how to make movies scary the ones today well you know the history no plot just blood some of us might like some suspense… one more name to add to the list dario argento all great movie makers

I'll see the sequel to this movie unlike the pile of you know what that was Halloween and H2 by Rob Zombie. Granted I had to let this Friday the 13th grow on me, it's not all that bad. there were a few things I didn't like, like Jason RUNNING. oh there was the whole keeping the girl captive. NO. Jason doesn't take captives. EVER. If Jason sees you, you're dead. period. Other than those 2 things I liked the movie.

If you didn't like the remake, or don't want to see a part 2 (or 13 if they call it that) then why do you care if they make it or not? Just don't bother going to see it. Personally I want to see it so if it gets made I'll go. Then when it comes out on dvd I'll buy it. I'm a fan of the series and enjoyed the remake, even though I was disappointed with some aspects of it. An hour into the movie I think only 5 or maybe 7 people had been killed. I grew up on Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St (which I don't care to see the remake of that), Hellraiser, and so many other movies of the 80s. And for anyone who has a question about my age I'm 33. In 1984 it was pretty normal for a 7 year old kid to be in the theatre watching these movies. We weren't as sensitive as kids these days are

Wish there was some news on part 2 remake. It hasnt been greenlit, does this
mean the film will have to be delayed from august 13, 2010.
Wish they would make another Freddy vs Jason film, this time though have
Michael Myers in it. But doesnt like thats going to happen anytime soon.

I am a huge fan of the films, however, the remake was, in my opinion, a horrible version of the cult classic. Jason is faster than he ever was, he makes noises, he gets his mask right off the bat, he actually lives in his childhood home. Totally off base from the original films. I know they were trying to make it “their own”, but c’mon, if it aint broke, don’t fix it. They broke it for me. I am not interested in a sequel/new chapter, or whatever it will be classified as, Jason is finally dead. I know i will see it as much as I deny it now, the 1.99 dvd bin at walmart has room for it already. Oh, and one last thing, didn’t MTV have a hand in this? Who the hell wants to see a horror movie made by the same company who does “Real World” “16 and Pregnant” and “The Hills”…enough said.

U see this is what pisses me off, a bunch of know nothings tlkin like professional critics. You kno y u didnt like this movie? Because it went back to the basics of the horror genre, but every1 now is stuck up technology’s ass, and since Jason didnt have a robotic body, or a damn technological weapon, u all just spit in its face. So y dont u all go watch StarTrek or sumthin. Bc dats wat u r a bunch of nerds. In fact if any of u ever watched the original Friday the 13 movies, u might have noticed Jason never actually died. And this badass, who u all say should die, could kick anything that u can think of’s ass. So stfu haters. I think they should quit tryin to remake StarTrek and Star Wars, and all these technologically advanced movies, so all u faggots will go crazy and blow your brains out, do us all a favor.

everyone should stop being negative and critical like the media! Not many of the Friday the 13th movies make sense in any way but I am a huge fan. They need to keep legends going like Godzilla, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Maniac Cop, Toxic Avenger. I wish someone would do a sequel to Chuck Norris’ Silent Rage.
