Freaktastic New Poster for Pandorum

The more we here at Screen Rant cover Pandorum – the upcoming sci-fi/horror/thriller starring Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma) and Dennis Quaid as two crew members who awaken from hyper-sleep aboard a nightmarish spacecraft – the more I get excited for the film to drop this fall.

Up until now promo materials for the film have included some truly creepy posters and a goosebump-inducing final trailer. Today, we have a new Pandorum poster that tops all the rest in terms of creepiness, and may just offer us yet another clue as to what the mysterious force terrorizing the spacecraft is. Take a look:

Dude, all I can say about his poster is SICK. If I were walking in a movie theater (instead of being an Internet Geek who can’t wait that long) and saw this poster, I would have to stop and take notice.

Again, this film could turn out to be a huge disappointment but at this point I don’t think it will: I love Ben Foster and I’ve heard nothing but good things about director Christian Alvart’s last film, Antibodies (which I hear is getting a U.S. remake, for better or worse). Plus, after watching the first and final trailers a few times, I can say that I haven’t felt chills like this from a sci-fi/horror/thriller since Event Horizon (which I am still too traumatized to watch alone).

    I admit I haven't seen much of Mr. Foster but what I have seen, I would say he is at best mediocre. I just don't see much emotion out of him in any role. I was like falling asleep in 3:10 to yuma even though I love christian bale and russel crowe I just think the story didn't captivate me enough. I will give him a shot in this one because it looks like it could be entertaining from the trailer. Maybe I was hungover when I watched 3:10 who knows don't take it personally Doom.

    Don't forget "hostage"... Ben was pretty bad-ass in that one as hell... Especially when he had the burning cocktails in each hand.

    Hey bud, care to enlighten us as to what the last POSTER that SCARED you happened to be?

    I don't think posters scare; they either grab your attention or fail to. What category would you place THIS poster in.

    Sure as hell grabbed my attention enough for me to post about it!

    this is the most original movie poster ever created by man. really though try harder next time, try not using photoshop.the movie might be scary but, but this poster is crap. not scary.

    Ben Foster is weak? Have you seen 3:10 to Yuma or 30 Days of Night or the Thomas Jane version of the Punisher? He was great in all 3 movies, all in supporting roles. I will admit his portrayal of Angel in X3 was pretty weak though. I think he easily deserves his shot at a big money lead role. I will be there to see this, it looks very interesting.

    I know, I know, you're all man, bud.

    Event Horizon freaked me the F out. I was a (Sophmore? Junior?) in High School and saw it the day I got back from football camp (read: hell).

    I scared me so bad the rest of that day is as clear as five minutes ago in my mind.

    Oh please Ben foster is weak in what I've seen of him and Dennis Quaid is subpar but is picking worse roles as he ages. Event Horizon might have been a little scary at first just because it was set in space on an desolate ship but once you figured out what was going on it got old. Also the twist was ridiculous and I ended up feeling disappointed after I watched it. But you never know with good writing and direction this movie could be good or great. Its tough for a movie to scare me though. Just my two cents.
