Fox’s newest show, Human Target, is about a body guard named Christopher Chance who privately contracts out to clients to guard them from dangerous threats. He’s hired when normal measures are no longer effective.
Human Target first showed up in comic books in 1972 under the Action Comics title and later became its own comic book and graphic novel. The original version of Human Target had him impersonate his clients.

Now Fox has taken the franchise a step further and has ordered some episodes for the 2009 / 2010 season.
In Fox’s version, Chance assumes nondescript positions that keeps him close to his client.

The writer tagged for the show is Jon Steinberg (Jericho).
I think the cast has potential. Mark Valley (Fringe, Boston Legal) plays Christopher Chance. Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen, A Nightmare on Elm Street) plays Guerrero and Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies) plays Winston.
If this show is handled properly, judging from the power house creative forces on either side of the camera, this could be juicy good.

The show seems interesting.
The lead could play a cool Captain America.
Looks quite impressive. And I agree “The real joe” he would make a good Capt. America.
Mark valley is allright but we can never trust fox to do anything right. And McG? LOL
Wow. That looks really good. Coming from Fox, that is saying something. This looks like it could make a pretty good 1-2 punch for Fox on Mondays with “24″.
Oh, and I also think he’d make a pretty damn good Cap.

Looks like it has a good cast. And I liked seeing Caprica doing something else already. Too bad she’s just in that episode and not a regular. Definitely going to check it out.

“Caprica”, Tricia Helfer, was a recurring character in BURN NOTICE. She’s been in an episode of CHUCK, she will be in BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE PLAN, is in an upcoming projects show called HIDDEN CRIMES and THE DEALERSHIP.
I think we’ll be seeing more and more of her as time goes on.
Et Al: Yes – I hope they pull this off and don’t smirk at McG being on the creative side of a television show. Of late, he’s brought us some good shows. That is if you like shows like SUPERNATURAL or CHUCK.

I thought it was the lead male actor from the 4400.
I’ll watch it, it looks good and fun. Just hope they don’t get me hooked and then cancel it right away like they’re known to do.

@INK: I will try to. I hate joining shows in the middle of its run (for some reason) so I’ll see if I can find an S1 DVD and such.
Season one and I think 2 are out for BN. If you don’t just want to Netflix them Target usually has them pretty cheap.

This looks great, lots of action. I’ve always liked Mark Valley, he didn’t last long enough on Fringe. With all the talent behind this, it should do well. I hope. It’ll be a long wait until Jan.
