@GUNSMITH

They pretty much already dealt with most of that with Alpha. I think the direction they were taking before, looking at what it really means to be a doll and how much your memories make up your personality was a rather interesting theme which I feel they should stick with.

Plus they've already established a whole load of plot points that need to be looked at, like what is the Dollhouse's main aim, something Ballard was tasked with finding out. Also what will Ballards role be now that he's working for the very place he was trying to take down. Where is Alpha?

Having a whole bunch of dolls go Alpha on us and try to take down to Dollhouse... I don't know, it seems too predictable which is why I doubt Joss will do it.

joss i love the show but now its time to amp it up..if they renew you we need maybe a new level to the ramifications in messing with peoples minds, what if because the dolls have been given all the personalities, what if the skills they would use, stuck. then a possible rebellion of the dolls, choice dolls fly the coupe but with all the skills they have used as dolls still accessible to them, spy skills, fighting, intelligence..running from other new dolls, rouge dolls teaming up to take down the company and other dolls sent out to take them down permanentlly.

Studio-hands on or off, the second-half of the Dollhouse WAS better, and things only started happening near the end. The first 10(?) just spun their wheels, which has to be a bit the great Joss W's fault too...?

Don't get me wrong, I credit Dollhouse for finally paying-off - the already renewed Heroes *completely* spun its wheels all season and did nothing! - but it seems odd Dollhouse only ended well.

I agree with "4ever3" - Sarah was better than both; and letting that slip would be the dumbest FOX move of the year (even if they seem to try to one-up themselves annually!).

Sarah first, Chuck second, then Dollhouse; that would be my order of SAVING shows (then Heroes - and Earl!! - I'd've put Life near-second. but it's gone to DNR status, alas).

The saddest thing of all being that come next October, there will be 10(?) *worse* shows, many doomed, we haven't even yet seen or *begun* to skip, on instead, like CSI:Nome, or Law & Order:Small Claims, or Studebaker:Private Hypnotist, or
Next Top American Celebrity Idle-Dancers...
*sigh*
Maybe the one cliche TV makes true is: only the good die young.

Bruce, you're my hero. I don't care that you're just the messenger and don't actually have anything to do with the decisions. Keep in mind though, if you change the story, it's straight to the waste bin with you. >=] :P

Anyway...
That's great news. I certainly hope it does come back and the exec rumors are true. If it comes back and they're not, the stupid moronic idiotic Fox lamer execs (yeah, I don't like them) may screw with it some more.

As for product placement, I'm totally against it, but I do detest all that is Microsoft.

I think Dollhouse has potential,
But Whedon really needs to refine this concept .
Treat these 13 episodes as if they were a 22 episode season .
Kudos to Fox for making this choice.
