Fortnite Season 6 has added a couple of new Mythic weapons that can only be obtained by beating the game's mini-bosses, but one piece of Mythic equipment requires a little more than simply outgunning a tough-as-nails AI. This guide will walk players through each step of getting the elusive Mythic Spire Jumpboots.

Mythic weapons were introduced during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. Players could obtain them by traveling to specific locations on the map and eliminating the mini-boss that patrols that location. In Season 5, players would have to find certain NPCs on the map and purchase Mythic weapons from them for large numbers of gold bars. Now, Fortnite Season 6 is returning to the good ole days of killing and looting, except for when it comes to the Spire Jumpboots.

How To Get Fortnite's Mythic Spire Jumpboots

Fortnite Season 6 Spire Guardian Locations

Players will start out in an intense firefight on their journey to get the Spire Jumpboots, but they will also have to deliver a special item to one of The Spire's shrines. Players will want to land at one of the six smaller spires around the map. These are easily found on the map as each one is located at the end of the orange strips of land. Here players will find a Spire Guardian patrolling the area which they will need to eliminate. Players need to be careful as these are extremely powerful enemies. Once defeated, the Spire Guardian will drop an Epic weapon as well as a special orb item. Players can pick up this orb and it will not take up space in their inventory. However, they will not be able to switch to another weapon without dropping it.

Next, players will need to carry the orb to The Spire POI which is located at the center of the map. The Spire will have various shrines dotted around the center of the location which players will need to deliver the orb. These shrines are easy to find as they have a glowing center and make an ominous noise when players are nearby. Once the orb is deposited into the shrine a pair of Spire Jumpboots will pop out. If a player jumps three times in a row while wearing the boots they will launch into the air and will be able to redeploy their glider. Players do not have to have the Jumpboots in hand to use them, but they do take up an inventory slot like the Jetpack.
