With season 3 being a month away Epic Games has been hosting a plethora of in-game events inside Fortnite Battle Royale. These events started with a live single debut from hip-hop icon Travis Scott and were followed by a live concert from world-renowned D.J. Diplo. And there are still plenty of concerts to come, and with them comes free items for your in-game avatar to wear. One of these free items that players have a limited time to collect is the Neon Wings Back Bling.
There are multiple concerts planned to take place from Friday, May 8 to Monday, May 11. These concerts will feature artists such as deadmau5, Dillon Francis & Steve Aoki. All of these concerts will take place inside Fortnite's newest game mode, Party Island, which doesn't allow for weapons or building. Party Island offers players a chill experience filled with mini-games and concerts where players can hang out with their friends and attend in-game parties. And players won't be leaving these parties empty-handed.
Get the Neon Wings in Fortnite
While seeing these world-famous artists perform live is incentive enough to attend the live concerts on Party Island, Fortnite is also giving those who attend a free party favor in the form of back bling. And obtaining the Neon Wings back bling is incredibly easy. No fancy dancing. No collecting coins or visiting specific locations. All a player needs to do to get the Neon Wings back bling is attend the Party Island concerts between May 8 and May 11.
The concert event starts at 6 p.m. ET on May 8 and ends at 10 a.m. on May 11. so a player has four days to log in to Fortnite to claim the free back bling. The Neon Wings are a reactive back bling that reacts to music, making them perfect to wear at the concert or any future musical event.
While the event starts at 6 p.m. the live music doesn't start until 8 p.m. so players will have enough time to drop into Party Island, grab their back bling, put the wings on, and drop into the party once again. The wings are not the only free item available as later Epic Games plans to give players a Party Island themed pickaxe and have teased a party island-themed skin. As pictured above, the set has a neon blue and hot pink themed look making them the perfect gear to wear to an in-game rave.
