I liked that show as a kid. If it’s done the right way, it could be a good film. It’ll be WAY better than that Speed Racer cr*p….LOL

bidee-bidee-bidee- Hey Buck! I’ll count myself as one of the 7 fans then…. loved this show as a kid. If done properly (as BS Galactica was) it should be darn good

I’m a fan of the TV show but a reboot? Gheesh all mighty.

Can’t they think of anything original?

As Kahless ponders the Klingon cup to his right, the question remains: Is he a Cylon….I mean, fan? :o)

Yes he is. I loved the 80’s show with Gerard. Don’t know if a movie would work but I would be willing to give it a look.

Lol Andy,….ok here’s 790’s casting call….

Christian Bale of course for Buck Rodgers.

I’m thinking Jessica Alba as Wilma.Deering.

Uma Thurman as Princess Ardala.

Tom Sizemore as Hawk.

Sam Jackson as Vorvon the Space Vampire.

Jonah Hill as Twiki.

Val Kilmer as the voice of that talking computer Clock/face looking thing that Twiki wears. (I can’t remember every name).

Morgan Freeman as the president of New Chicago.

And
Gary Coleman as Hieronymous Fox, the 11 year old child ruler of the planet Genesia.

And they would fly in the Searcher 2. ;-)

Why the title about “7 fans”? Buck has been a popular character for decades in books and TV and games. Sure the 80’s show was cheesy but it wouldn’t be the 80’s without the cheese.

A movie isn’t a horrible idea, at least not as bad as 3/4 of the ‘reboot’ projects out there.

790- “Gary Coleman as Hieronymous Fox”
that is too much…

790… I agree wholeheartedley with the cast. Except Gary Coleman… unless he could be cast as Twiki… (biddee-biddee-biddee, wot you talking about buck)

Well remember that episode where Gary Coleman plays Hieronymous Fox. Haha. He even got off a “what you talking bout Buck”.
Lol.

This could be his “Pulp Fiction” comeback.

Within 3 years he’ll be every genre film possible and win a Golden Globe for “Snakes on Airforce 1″ reboot. ~~~~~~

Panda, the title was meant to be humorous. I guess maybe not so much… :-)

Though humorous, I think scary.
