I think the worst thing they are doing is making a justice league movie without Cristian Bale and Brandon Routh playing batman and superman. I mean come on. If they want to compete with the avengers movie then they could atleast use the same live action incarnations of the characters

Ryan Reynolds? I wonder if he can pull off 3 comic book characters: Deadpool, Green Lantern and now the Flash?

C’mon man, it’s NOT going to be Reynolds if we EVER get a Flash film. It’ll probably be Justine Timberpuke.

What??! You fking kidding me?? No! Granted that adam brody is a good and gifted actor but to play the part of wally west\the flash? Nuh uh! While he might be physically right for the part,long and lean. But facially..no! His nose is too long and to dye his hair red as the orginigal wall west? Ugh no he won’t come across as appealing. He will look like a long nose jewish guy with his hair washed in cheeto sauce. I am sorry to say. I concur that ryan reynolds would be a better choice.

Reynolds is the only guy who can play this character. And just because he’s playing Deadpool in this one time role doesn’t mean he can’t play Flash at a later time. The role would still be his if and when this project kicks off.

Sad news for sure. But the saddest news for Flash fans? The saddest news is that Ryan Reynolds passed on Flash to become Marvel’s favorite smart a** Deadpool. I remember he used to publicly lobby for the role of the Flash. Dont you think a little A list talent publicly lobbying for the film would speed up development right about now? And aside from that, he wouldve been great as the Flash. He’s already proven he can bulk up and play a hero in Blade. And he has the perfect sense of humor for the role.

I must admit Im glad though. Reynolds is equally perfect for the role of Deadpool, and Im glad Marvel realized that and locked him down before DC could. But I am just a little partial to the Merc with da mouth!
