If you read Screen Rant on a regular basis you would have known about the sex and gore before the film – I brought it up here explicitly as a warning to those who might not be expecting it.

Ok I saw this tonight and I never expected the sex the graphic nudity.. nor the gratitous gory violence. the CGI was good I liked that the Plot jumped around so bad I was temped to leave halfway through i never read the book only saw the trailers. that made this out to be a Super hero gone bad action adventure not a Noirish Sin city stylized sex flick with some good fights and a Hyperactive plot Sadly I was less then pleased as the trailers never spoke to the gor or the sex after 2anda half hours was still scratching my head. and the entire Theater emptied in Silence a good clue that most were not pleased over all i would only give this movie 2 stars. as the cg was good and the effects were killer and true real life some of the characters were WICKED good .. now i realize this was 12 novels crammed into one movie

I went into watchman knowing nothing about the comic book. The movie was great! The ending was one i was not expecting…loved it! Must see!

Great review, however I would rather have someone review it who has no idea what “Watchmen” is to get a better perspective on how the film is then someone who knows too much of the product already.It seemed a little over the top…I can’t wait much longer for this either..

It better be better than “Constantine” of “V for Vendetta”and especially better than that campy “league”

Everything the guy said was pretty much what I expected to hear. I never liked Matthew Goode as Veidt either, based on his look and line delivery (from what we’ve seen so far).

I am sure that fans (like Me) will like it but what about people who have never heard of Watchmen ?
I would like to hear a review from a non comic fan who never heard of Watchmen until they started seeing the trailers and the ads .

I do hope they do not make a sequel and I am glad that it is gory-true to the book.
