Never really liked the whole vampire is a romantic/tortured soul storyline. Not being a teen and definitely not female, I’ll have to stay clear of this one.

Looks interesting. Not to sure about vampire movies that have a romantic edge, especially after watching 30 Days of Night, also, not a fan of daytime vampires, or ‘low powered’ vampires. Probably will go see it, just to see if I am wrong, and it ends up being a watchable movie.

I’m guilty, my girlfriend got me to read all the books(3 so far). And you know what, I liked them, there I said it. I do hope this movie is good.

One thing definitely worth mentioning is, that after watching behind the scenes stuff and seeing the trailer. They are making this movie EXACTLY like the book with only minor (very minor) differences.

I will be honest: I can’t WAIT to actually see this movie. Having read the book… Several times I hope it lives up to my expectations.

P.S. Vampires are my favorite:P

That could be the tagline.

Yeah its slow at work today.

Ugh, I tried reading a Anne Rice book once, and boy oh boy was that boring.
Vampires are getting old, the last decent vampire movie I saw was Blade.
I saw this really funny special on the History channel about the way the vampire myth came about. the part that was really funny is when they came to “Modern day Vampires” and “Vampire role playing” the whole thing was ridiculous. although I did like Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Aaaaahahhhhhhhhhhhh uuuuhhhhh (sorry I was yawning)

So.. today all you have to do to make a movie is find pretty girls and pretty boys, with superpowers… combine it with vampirism and tadaaaaa, you’ve got your self a hit?

Just HOW many times have we seen this before?

The teaser or trailer, didn’t show that he was a vampire flick. At first I thought they were ‘different’. Living for hundreds of years, zipping around in the skies, being super strong… it looked to me more of a superhero movie with some kind of lame curse…

oh wait.. it does have a lame curse… he’s a VAaaaampire!

Mmmmm, so what can make this movie good? Boobage? Probably not enough… ;) Good story? Wow that’s almost like inventing a machine that can replicate $100 bills and actually make the serial numbers be authentic! (yeah we all have that dream… and it’s a replicator like the one from Star Trek ;)
I am going to share with you friends a clip that will change your moment, will make you rethink history and put a new perspective to making films all together…

Do you honestly think this movie can beat something as amazing and incredibly original and epic in scale? I’m providing you all with a link to a movie that has acting a thousand times more authentic and captivating than this movie’s economy of actors. It has effects unlike ANYTHING you’ve ever seen…

http://youtube.com/watch?v=KtYzCzKZygk

PS. The Directors name is Kunt… (No I’m not kidding) :D PPS. As for being the best movie? Yeah, relax, I WAS kidding…
PPPS. I’m being a bit of a Negative Nancy today I know… :( Hay Fever is kicking in and I’m moody… ;)

Yep 790,

I even saw the trailer… What can I say… Vampires are a bunch of horny bloodsucking kids or pervs with fetishes, deemed illegal in most states… ;)
I don’t know… For me… Bram Stoker’s Dracula has to be one of the very best Vampire movies out there… For the simple reason that it was ooooozing with creative shots and it was just deliciously kinky enough and artistic enough to keep you wanting some more… For me the best part of the film has to be the beginning.. Actually when I was a kid and saw it at the cinema, I went to see it again just to watch the intro where we see Dracula as a man, turning to the undead. Awesome clip… ooooh, I feel like watching it again… And then… well then… we have Winona… What can I say? I still think she’s hot… :)
As for teen horror Vampire movies… ummm the one I liked the best… HAS to be by far… get ready here folks… FRIGHT NIGHT Part II… Ahh there were some hot women in that movie… Ok I can’t really remember the movie so I don’t know if I can stand by what I just said… but as a kid… that was a big one for me.

Vampire movies, CAN still be good… Only problem is that they’ve thrown every story in the “Cliché Machine” and it’s been printing the same regurgitated hoopla since the dawn of time (Early 80s ;).

Blade tried to break that mold, but theeeen… it quickly turned into a rave party with enough crack cocaine to send half the population to Cloud City…
:)
How are you this fine Summer day my good man 790?

Did you know that you’re the only person I know who’s actually got a name in numbers? Let me guess… you’re trying to beat everyone to the game huh? Like THX-1138… Smart… ;)
I’ll just call my self 1 (I’d do 0 but that doesn’t get you laid, trust me… )
:)

Hey Stephen, its a sunny day here in LA, its 5:35 afternoon and I’m doing some laundry.
(Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee).
What’s up, Down under?
^
Honestly I’ve never really liked Vampire films and mid-evil fantasy films. I liked the first Blade, mainly because of the cast.
The second Blade was really bad. Never saw the 3rd one. Bram Stokers was ok I saw that on VHS years ago. I remember liking that one even though it was a love story. I liked how dracula stored away in dirt from transivainia (spell check) that was very original.
And yes Wynonna is hot!!! Especially in that film.
Check out “The Darwin Awards” funny film with Wynnona, just came out on dvd.

790 is just a cover. Only Vic and a few others know my secret identity. (Ha ha).
In alot of ways I’m like Tony Stark, eehm without the brains, money and brains. I do have a private jet with stripper flight attendants. No really I do. :-) Why you ask do I have a secret identity:
I sometimes say to much and some of my friends in the biz out here told me to do it. (Just so I won’t get fired).

Ya know….
790 is a character in the sci_fi show LEXX. He’s a smartass robot head that never shuts up, I figured (that’s me.). I sometimes post on other sites and when I do I use alternate names that are allways LEXX related. (Just fyi).
If you havnt seen LEXX you should check it out!!!

Allways enjoy reading your posts Stephen. !!!!!
got to fold my lame clothes now. Uh and then I’m flying to Canada for dinner.

Yeah right.

He he he, I enjoy reading your mails too… Yep, I saw Lexx, I loved that German chick… but when they fired her, I didn’t watch it anymore… Maaaahhhaaaan she was hot!

Folding clothes? Hmm I saw this Japanese woman once folding clothes, making it look like a frakking art form! Amazing…
Let me see if I can illustrate just what I am talking about :….

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1CILnVJbK0

Hmmm you can find EVERYTHING on YouTube… I bet there’s a video of me typing this reply to you… (he looks behind him… neck a bit stiff, but aids his paranoia by pivoting his body to the left… to his surprise… there wasn’t a TV crew filming him… now more relaxed… resuming his procrastination like there’s no tomorrow)

I knew your real name wasn’t 790!! pfft… :/ ;) Yeah I should have chosen something cool too, but then maybe I’m like Jackie Chan… I won’t react to any other name if it isn’t Jackie in the movie. ;)
Nah, I just didn’t think when I signed up… But if I should have chosen an Alias, I’d be called Ergo Proxy, like I do most other places… that or Nostromo. :)
Anywya, I predict this film Twilight to be begging people to come see it like Jumper did. Only it won’t be THAT successful… Or will it be just as successful?

Hmm, I really don’t care… ;)
Still if I could fold my clothes like that… I’d be in business… buuut, nope, I can’t even fold it military stile… Mine looks like a 4 year old trying to make a paper hat out of his t-shirt. Oh well… I still have some good years left in me to master that art. ;)
And when you go on your private Jet.. you better take some photos of that girl with the big boobs… I wanna see that when you come back!! :D

Folding clothes sucks.

Haha Stephen, (Stark) yeah, when the camera panned back on that shot in the plane with the dancing babes the entire audience LTAO. I think that was the biggest laugh of the film. O yeah and the fire extinguser droid.
Aahhhhahaaa man that was a good movie. Unlike this twilight bs.

Oh Hey the LEXX Producers didn’t fire Eva Habermann (Zev) she left the show because of a scheduling problem. After they shot the first season, (four, 2 hour movies) there was a time lag because they couldn’t get picked up. It was a full year later when SCI-FI Channel picked them up. They asked Eva to return but she had allready flown back to Germany and was. commited to another show.
Luckly she was able to come back to shoot the first 2 epsiodes of season 2 so that the producers could work out her death. They were able to pull off a Vulcan death and brought her back with a little more cluster Lizard in her. That’s why the new Xev had red hair in the second season.

Hey Stephen if you email Vic offsite he can give you my email address. Were starting to get off topic. If you ever wanna chat I’m usually online 24/7.

Apparently, nobody has done their research.

First, these are not your typical vampires…(Dracula the Retard gets on my nerves but I can’t get enough of my Edward Cullen, THE “bad boy” vampire)

Second, there is no way you can relate GOTH to this… just because vampires are involved..tsk tsk

Third, the fans range from pre-teens to grandmothers AND grandfathers.

Fourth, the lines DO sound kinda cheesy but if you ever read the books, you’ll understand.

Ive just finished reading all three books for the third time and I only discovered the Twilight series a few weeks ago. I can’t wait for the forth book next month, and there are 2 teaser trailers a film clip and film extras on the offical Twilight web site. I hope the movie lives up to the book (although I doubt it) It dose look really good though, and I’m so looking forward to it.

Call me crazy, but I don’t even know why Twilight was at Comic-con! I am a huge fan and have read all the books and anything else “Stephenie Meyer” related and I just don’t see it in the same light as Batman and Spiderman! Nothing against them, I just saw “The Dark Knight” and it’s one of the best movies I have ever seen! I think of Twilight more of as a romance story, like Romeo and Juliet… actually exactly like that story. I think the movie will be big, not because it’s a good film (although it may be), but because the fans are so obsessed!

Yippee.. 2 days until book 4 and 13 days until I meet Stephenie Meyer at the BD Seattle signing!

The girl cast as Bella looks great for the part, so does James. Emmit, Jasper and Jacob came close to what I imagined them to look like. Unfortunately Edward, Alice, Rosalie and Carlisle were not at all what I imagined…. I’m looking forward to the movie and I hope I wont be disappointed.

Although it’s a teen romance I think alot of adults will enjoy it too. It’s a very different and very believable and addictive story compared to other vamp movies. Basically no one at all knows that the “vampires” in this are even vampires. They can come out during the day and they don’t sleep in coffins and love spiders and all that, they don’t have fangs, they have normal teeth but they have super strength that they can bite through your skin with their strength alone. They are only called vampires because that’s what people who drink blood are called, they have another name but to humans that’s what they are. They come across as beautiful and sexy to attract their prey(humans) and then they bite them and drink their blood and then expose of the body very throughly so no one will ever no what happened to the person. They sparkle in the sun but do not die from it and that is where the myth of them not being able to go out at day came from. They walk/run at super speed but can also move slow if they choose to. They don’t blink and don’t need to sleep or rest or sit, but they do those things to fit in with the rest of the world anyway. They can climb and leap far and all of that too, just like superheroes except their natural instincts are not to protect but to kill. They carry venom through their bodies like we carry blood, they’re saliva is venom, they have venom in their eyes so they can move their eyes with ease, they can’t produce tears for the reason that we produce them to protect our eyes and they don’t need any protection. They don’t need to breathe but they do because they rely on scent for alot of things, if they feast on human blood their eyes go a dark black and around their eyes is a red color, if they feast on animal blood they’re eyes go a browny golden color without the red, if they’re hungry their eyes go a deep dark black. They can live forever and it would take their own kind to kill them. They become immortal by a bite by another vampire without the draining of the blood, and then go through a three day process of agony when becoming a vampire, when they first become immortal the only thing they want is blood and lots of it, they’re main focus is blood, human blood and they don’t lose all personality traits they just get forgotten about for a little while until after a few years of being a scary new born vampire, then they can have feelings and emotions, anger, sadness, happiness, excitment, etc etc… They are like their humans selves but most of their kind is taken over by a monster nature to feast on human blood, the cullens however(main vampire characters in this movie) have controlled that monster and do not hunt human but hunt animal, drinking animal blood for them is not as tasty and does not give them as much strength(yet they’re still strong) I do not know the point in their existance but most of them think they have no soul and will go to hell purely for what they are, although they had no choice in the matter, some of them like being immortal some would give it up to be human again, they’re probably put on this earth to kill because without pain and hurt there wouldn’t be any compassion in this world. The story is amazing. And it is very interesting. Alot like romeo and juliet, but a little more of an intense story line, because well… It’s a guy that fantasises about drinking his soul mates blood. I’m sure alot of people will not enjoy it, but I’m also sure alot of non teen girls will enjoy it also. It’s not a gross vampire tale, the main characters are not evil, it’s kind of erotic and sexy aswell as sweet and loveable, and suspensful and thriller’ish(nine year olds might get scared) it’s a great love story and people should give it a go, because although it does attract girls and women it’s very interesting and I’m sure anyone not afraid of romance would enjoy. It makes it seem as though they could maybe be real(they’re not) but it’s very believable.

imagine this…vampires ( the said undead ) walking, living, and falling in love…the story isnt like the typical vampire movies at all.anne rice got a different attack on this one and now its into the big screen.the cute cedrick now plays the role of a vampire and i simply just love it…what if you could leave forever? and say for 90 years you have been waiting for an “ultimate” soulmate…then suddenly the magical moment did arrived…this is a kind of movie where you could see superhumans interact with ordinary beings…how they define love and deal with the said reality of being so far and the risk of losing what they have waited for a long time…
