However the jarring change from straight up suspense horror to action horror is rare that it works out well and I doubt The Descent 2 will be one of those rarities. @Paul,

I actually look forward to Decent 2. I am a fan of the action horror Genre (Aliens, Predator, etc)so i am hopeful that D2 will be able to pull this off. I think the movie industry is lacking in this field. Yes we have horror and we have action.....but action horrors are fairly rare. So take that. :) Smitty well I will be the voice of decent(lol). Sounds alot like Aliens underground to me But on the upside it's good to see they are tying it into the first film and not having a completely seperate bunch of people going down for a repeat of the first film. And regarding your comment of how they are changing it from horror to action horror, didn't they do that from Alien to Aliens and it was a big success, no one complained then!
