come on be serious were all going to watch this film and it wont matter how good it is when the original freddy was out it was the 80′s horror genre and freddy took the lead by far all the people on here were younger and much easier to scare, you wont touch the original and rob englund is still freddy never changes

i hope they dont make him a child molester cause he is not originally west craven was going to make him a child molester but decided against it because the high molester rate in california , and made him a child killer.

well ill have to say i wish i found this poster a couple weeks ago, cause i got the freddy krueger glove tattooed on me, mind when i see the movie i will be in fully freddy clothing, maybe even dress like him…hot? we will see, but i agree tho it shouldnt have been remade, freddy krueger and pinhead are possibly the only guys who have had the same actor play the same part. but freddy being a bigger chacater, i will have to say i will miss robert as freddy.

who cares its not englund doing freddy… i mean look at all the actors that have played the doctor and t took them 9 to get the perfect one

also imo jack was a better joker than heath…. but each to their own

horror isnt scary anymore, but i cant wait for this hopefully it will reignite the genre

I like the images so far, but those are not necessarily representative of the quality of the movie.

Personally, I have no problem with remakes. (I do moan and groan whenever I hear about the newest ones, but I don’t mind them.)

I mean, really, what harm can they cause? If they aren’t as good as the originals or if they just plain stink, who cares? You can always forget it and just watch the original. But if a remake is done pretty well (Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, IMO), then you’ve got one more movie to love.
