I have to say that is indeed very “G.I. Joe-ish.” :-)

Poor Ray, can never get a role where is face isn’t obscured, lol.

Perfect casting Ray Park is great for this role!

What am I talking about?

Surma says:

This shows that they are gonna get the style of this movie very right and similar to before. Maybe they will throw in some flares so its not cheesy, but to me this gives me the highest hopes.

endri says:

Nice very cool, but how can he see through his mask. I know he is colled snake eye but can enybody elaberate on that.

PS
I just saw a picture of stormshadow and he was asian arent SE and SS brothers and russians.

I’m assuming that the visor is made up of narrow slits that he can see through.

Vic

Holy moley…

I’m still not looking forward to this movie at all but I must admit that those pics impressed me to no end.

Panda says:

Haha – I love the “enhanced” triceps on the suit. Does it have nipples too? “No muscular enhancements here… pure West” Also I assume they will never show is arm so the tattoo had to go right on his sleeve. Did I just make a spoiler? sorry

“I’m assuming that the visor is made up of narrow slits that he can see through”

yeah… in eight different light spectrums! (that’s a joke, not a spoiler)

adrian says:

THAT IS THE SH!T!!!!!
Perfect and I’m sold! Yo Joe!
Endri: This visor is like a motorcycle helmet’s shield or like sunglass with line graphic designs.

Jae Senn says:

YO—JOE!!!!

Snake Eyes is definitely gonna open an extra large can of whoop-ass on the good guys!!!

Panda says:

Speaking of the triceps – anyone remember how the old figures were pretty modest in the muscle dept, then Sgt Slaughter had the huge biceps and after that they all them. I always thought that was kinda corny.

The Snake Eyes costume above is a little ‘busy’ with gear. I would have liked his suit to be a little more streamlined for close-quarter combat. They are definitely going for the 80’s look though (based on the action figures) – which I can appreciate. Didn’t he have an uzi instead of the pistol?

Being mute (which he better be in the movie or it’s over, but Ray Park never had many lines in any of his roles so we’re probably good), I can’t imagine he will be a major plot driven character – I’m probably wrong tho. “This mission is a lil dangerous, bring in Snake Eyes aka the silent can of ninja whoop-a$$”.

Endri-
I think SS and SE are ‘brothers’ of the same ninja clan, not necessarily genetic brothers. I’m pretty sure SS was asian in the comics.

endri says:

Everybody thankyou for the info.
The only thing I sow was the CGI movie once and thats it.

KEL says:

Very nice.

It looks like 2009 will be an interesting movie year as well.

We got JLA (hopefully, and good too), Transformers 2, and GI Joe to look forward to among other films. Sweet.

Cheatery says:

Oh yeah! This looks great and I truly hope that the whole movie will be as good as this… Park is a really good fighter, so I just can’t wait to see his Snake Eyes movements!

oldkid22 says:

there’s no doubt this is gna be awesome in every sense! is that too much hype? well worth the eleven plus bucks to see on the big. got to save cash – got to get tough yo joe!

Bill says:

Snake -Eyes looks SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that we’ve all seen him, where is Storm Shadow?!

Mel says:

Ray Park as Snake Eyes = Pure Freaking Genius!!! I don’t think you could cast anyone better. And he looks incredibly badass as everyones favorite silent ninja! Even if the movie sucks, I’m quite sure his ninja fight scenes will be great. And I’ll watch the movie just for that.

Now when the Deadpool movie goes into production, I hope they cast Ray Park as well. And truthfully, he should’ve been Nightcrawler instead of Toad in the Xmen movie!!!

megaman says:

very cool, but i saw storm shadow and looks lame, and he should be caucasian both are.

Mel says:

“megaman said,

Actually you’re very wrong. Storm Shadow was always Japanese, and Snake Eyes was American!

Scracrow says:

My only worry is that Snake Eyes will say more than two words to some other than Duke, Scarlett or Hawk.

“”Of Japanese heritage, Thomas Arashikage “Arashi” Storm and “kage” meaning Shadow is commonly known as the Cobra member Storm Shadow.”"= From Comicvine.com

They could have gotten a better design for his costume.

Lisa Moessner says:

The suit is awesome..The cast for snake eyes, Ray Park, is as perfect as it was for Darth Maul. You can see his buffed up body, a real turn on, and will look forward to seeing him in action with his honed skills. The guy rocks! He is super action!

Though non credited. The pic going around of Snake Eyes with pistol in left hand sword in right. Is from the Pit scene and is not Ray Park. It is in fact actor stuntman TJ Austin. Though TJ only worked 4 days onboard. He worked 1 day stunts as Snake Eyes for a test mock up and 3 days as a Special Operations Soldier.

Tasha says:

O snap. I went to see this movie and i loved it there were some parts that i liked more than others but it was a good movie over all. The best charecter in the movie to me was snake eyes because he was no talk all action.
