I'm put off by their character descriptions. Do they have to be super cliched-looking geeks?

I am very excited. Sigourney Weaver needs to return to SciFi. Plus my unabashed obsession with Simon Pegg makes me a laughing stock with some of my girlfriends.

And while I do like Greg Mottola from episodes of "The Office," "Superbad," and "Adventureland" I have to consider the lack of Edgar Wright here.

While "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" both starred Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, they were co-written by Pegg and Wright, not Frost, and directed by Wright.

Plus, throwing Seth Rogen in the mix, whom I loved in "Freaks and Geeks," "Superbad," "Pineapple Express," and especially in "Zach and Miri Make a Porno," but his endless cameos in "Fan Boys," as well as "Observe and Report" put me off.

I do think that this movie will be brilliant, and I am looking forward to the writing stylings of Nick Frost. I just want to be a little cautious on ranking it up with "Shaun" and "Hot Fuzz."
