I recently read the graphic novel and I found it an entertaining read. It should be a great movie.

There’s enough humor, action and social commentary to drop an elephant.

If made right it could be The French Connection meets Blade Runner.

Sounds interesting, and Bruce Willis is a box-office draw. It sounds a little like I-Robot (which I liked).

Sounds like a pretty interesting movie. Let’s just hope it’s better than “The Fifth Element.” I will definitely see it because I generally like Bruce Willis movies.

Vic…anything more on “The A-Team” movie?? I still think Bruce would be great as Hannibal.

Nothing new on the A-Team front, sorry.

This sounds like a good idea for about 25 seconds.
Then when you think about it, it would never get that bad.
I can’t believe that people would ever agree to live like that. Not even in a hundred years.
All be multi-passing on this stinker.

It will get that bad and is getting that bad 790..How much time are people spending in chat rooms and online in general. With talk of getting new movies beamed directly into your home theater systems, online shopping with store-to-door delivery, the ability to pay almost everything online, with food delivery to your door and almost anything a click away, it is getting to that point. We were a social society that has become increasingly socially isolated from a mono-et-mono standpoint. You can be somebody else online and nobody ever has to see or know the real “you” but there is a down side…no intimate contact with another human being is something that should never be lost as we are a five senses experiencing lifeforce that needs human contact to keep our humanity..and who are we kidding? I like to have a woman by my side to share my experiences with..not typing online about how tough life is getting or how bad everything is getting…Think the Matrix with that type of virtual reality where it will be difficult for us to differentiate between the real world and the illusionary creation our minds are placed in. I suggest people read RAY KURZWEIL’S ” The Age of the Spiritual Machine” and how it explains Moore’s Law relative to how the technology will expand to incorporate ideas that seem as ludicrous as the ones is this new movie “The Surrogates.”

Whew!! That was a mouthful!!

Cheers

Alot of remote viewers say that something BIG will occur before it gets that bad.
Some of them can’t see anything past 2012, and say the event will be spiritual in nature….

Who knows , I’ll hopfully be dead by the time we go Borg.
And I have no plans to reincarnate on this rock…
