OMG OMG OMG OMG This trailer hits the bullseye!!! from the effects to the story it looks better than the xmen movies its gotta be said. Waw intense gotta be best trailer ive seen this year!!!! hugh jackmen is ripped!!!! good on ya guys haha cant wait!!!

Steven says:

yes this is gonna be great!

Drew says:

Its has to be Deadpool. Why would Fox market an action figure that looks excactly like this character and call him Deadpool? Why does he not have a mouth? And as for the Red lines on his body, it looks like the same markings that Wolverine had on his body to show where the adamantium is inserted into his body only they are more defined. Plus there are no bandages holding on the blades. WTF?

Rob Keyes says:

I’ve read in multiple places that the images could be photoshopped or that it was a Hasbro packaging error.

Perhaps, that’s just fan hope…

The more I read into it, it does sound like they’re one and the same. Some of the figures are out and they describe Deadpool/Weapon XI as the ultimate mutant weapon created by and serving William Stryker and who has no weakness…his first target is Wolverine.

I’ve read elsewhere they are collecting DNA samples from other mutants and giving him these abilities (hence the optic blast at the end and the single blades coming from his arms).

What do you think of that?

ppnkof says:

I kinda liked the first trailer better.

Matt says:

wow still looks like crap, but the scene w/ gambit was nice though

Oscar! says:

LOLOLOLOL so that wasnt Deadpool, and Gambit has his red eyes. What are you guys gonna complain about now?

Matt says:

too many characters and even the action scenes seem too corny its almost as if bret ratner made this

Oscar! says:

@Matt
you would.

Matt says:

wtf do you mean “you would”

John "Kahless" Taylor says:

I refuse to watch anymore trailers of Wolvie. I’m sold on the movie and don’t want to spoil anymore of it.

So Gambit has the red eyes now? Don’t remember seeing them in the earlier trailer. It also looks like Fox is changing yet another character (Deadpool) because they know more about Marvel than Marvel does. GEEEESSSSEEE!!!!

Oscar! says:

@Matt
YOU WOULD

Rob Keyes says:

@ John “Kahless” Taylor.

Wait for it… I have a dirty monster of a post that will be up today which touches on Fox and three important characters of this movie…

I’ll link it here when it’s been published.

Adrian says:

Theory:
They my have changed Deadpool’s abilities and history a bit.
Remember the character Deadpool took that name from the reject faucilty of Weapons X project. Also Deadpool had volunteered for experiment to gain the mutate healing factor and with that being said,IMO,think that FOX is adding a few powers to Deadpool aka Weapon XI for a big climatic battle. Just my theory.:)

Carl Lee says:

As a Deadpool fan, I’m hoping the character is an engineered clone–but sadly it’s looking like it might be Deadpool himself. I hope not, but can’t trust FOX to be faithful to any source material.

Rob Keyes says:

Here it is.

Instead of sleeping last night, I did this:

http://screenrant.com/fox-ease-fanboy-tension-characters-wolverine-rob-5900/

It’s about Gambit, Deadpool and Cyclops and follows up on my last editorial about what they did with Deadpool and its implications for Gambit.

dean says:

Cyclops cant meet wolverine in this film because they dont know each other in the first Xmen film, wolverines blades need more work there lookin abit fake at the end of the trailer!!

dean says:

And how come Sabertooth looks so different from the first Xmen film??

Drew says:

@ Rob

What was wrong with my comment to see that it didnt get posted. Was I right on the money by figuring out the movie. I doubt it, but its the obvious answer to this madness.

Rob Keyes says:

I don’t know what happened there Drew, I see previous posts from you and nothing was picked up by the spam filter…

Perhaps the post you’re talking about is in the other thread :)

Ken J says:

Wait, I don’t get it, because in both this and the other trailer, don’t they show Reynolds playing Deadpool with just him and the swords or is that someone else? I think they are two different characters unless maybe he was all mutantfied by whatever in this movie, but by the end he loses his powers and becomes is old self again? And gets an outfit to cover up all of those marks?? I don’t know anything about Deadpool other than what I’ve read about here, so I don’t know, it’s just a wild guess.

Cali says:

ok after watching the trailer and thinking about everything else that’s going on for marvel in the movie industry i think i came up with a somewhat plausible explanation to a few things.
first off too many people are arguing their points based on the comics histories and origins. X-men never followed the comics much and took a lot of liberties. so that pretty much cancels out the idea that wolverine can’t have met this guy or done that based on the idea that comic history says otherwise.
now if we think along those lines marvel has taken a different approach to its movies since the first x-men and spider-man movies….. they’ve shifted a bit to the ultimate universe and have begun taking steps to ensure their universe is more cohesive and interacts within all their titles…. so i think this may be what we’re seeing in a larger picture when it comes to things like this

Andy S says:

I liked the trailer. The only part that looked REALLY stupid was the part with the helicopter. Totally thought “Goldmember” right there.

Rage says:

I don’t know what to say. Frankly, Deadpool does not fire optic blasts. Could it be that this is just another stunt by Hollywood to always want to change up the characters a bit just so they can feel that they had some part in the character?

Rage says:

And i agree with the last post Carl made before mine. It’s true.

t'challa says:

For all those who don’t know, thats Mutant Prime Logans fighiting in the blur. He’s a colaberation of the mutant powers of wolverine, Cyclops, disk, and dead pool. Kinda like givin wolvies healing power to Wade Wilson

So don’t worry about deadpool using laser vision

Rage says:

Also, i think they could have gone with a better Gambit. i mean what is wrong with Hollywood? why can’t they ever get the height of the characters right? Is it that hard to find a white guy, 6′3, with pretty boy looks who either speaks with a cajun accent or can at least mimick the accent?

greenknight333 says:

Not nearly as good as the Terminator Salvation trailer but still good none-the-less..

Rorschach says:

break out the “Carbonadium” !

i doubt any 1 knows what i mean but Comic readers will.

Danny says:

My biggest thing is keeping it true. Not to a Fanboy level, but keep Deadpool’s look that of Deadpool. I’m just praying that Hasbro or whatever toy company that came out with the Origins action figures got it mixed up regarding Deadpool. And this other dude with wierd markings, blades from his arms and laser’s from his eyes is somebody totally different we haven’t seen yet.
