Danny says:

Oh… and Rorschach. Carbonadium wouldn’t be as tough or sound as tough as Adamantium does. And no, I’m not a Fanboy….just a fan.

Rorschach says:

im aware of that “Dan” but Carbonadium does rapidly slow down the Healing Process for Wolvie and sabertooth and Daken.

cuz it has been turned in to bullets and knives to use aginst healing mutants.

greenknight333 says:

I am a big fan Rorschach but Carbonadium sounds like a way to serve pasta dude!!

Greg says:

Ya I think that the Weapon XI Guy is a hybrid of different mutants like cyclops, deadpool and maybe baraka (i mean some mutant like baraka from mortal kombat). Hopefully this new genetically modified character is not named deadpool because that would ruin a great character.

Maybe they think they kill deadpool (ryan reynolds character) but they just burn and scar his face like in the comics and leave him for dead. Not knowing hes still alive they name this new cross breed mutant deadpool codenamed Weapon XI.

The trailer does look better than before and if what I said is the case, than it will be a good movie MINUS the lame bone claws that arent in most comics.

rod says:

i think the mutant wolverine is fighting may be mimic ,my biggest problem why is wolverine taller than sabertooth thats just lame the first xmen almost got it right i think the wrestler sid vicious would have been perfect he already looks like the comic book villian plus hes about 6′10 my biggest coplaint weres logans costume ?

Ollie says:

Sorry guys but the weird albino Weapon XI is not deadpool. If you look at the trailer again they show both The Bold dude and “Deadpool” separately with enough screen time to make it clear that they are separate. They clearly show reynolds and they clearly show the albino. The Albino could be a replacement for wolverine as he so boldly left the weapon X team so I have a strong idea that they are of course separate!

kyyle23 says:

@Dean

Cyclops can be in this movie because when they meet up later in life, Logan does not remember his past(which is what Xavier is trying to help him with.

However, cyclops should remember Logan, and gave no indication that they had a past together.

Rob Keyes says:

@ Ollie,

That doesn’t necessarily mean anything. For instance, Ryan Reynolds could be himself for the first 45 minutes of the movie then could turn into something else entirely for the rest of the film. A 2-minute trailer couldn’t differentiate that.

Rob Keyes says:

@ Kyyle23,

My guess would be that they do not meet in this film. I think when Logan is off on his own, the Weapon X project sends Sabretooth to recruit/kidnap Cyclops because they’re trying to collect mutants for their DNA to make the next superweapon to replace Wolverine.

At least… that’s one possibility. I can see Logan losing memories but not Cyclops.

Rorschach says:

the Game is rated “M”.
WtF?!?!?
the movie needs an “R”

Ken J says:

OMG, can we please get over this whole rating thing? It doesn’t have to be M, or R, or anything to be cool. Curse words and movie sex lost their “cool factor” when I was 15. We all already know that PG-13 does not eliminate any violence, just nudity and profanity. Two things that really make no improvement to the movie.

Rob Keyes says:

@ Ken,

The R-rating is not for sex or nudity – it’s for violence, gore and some nasty language, which is what the Wolverine comics are all about.

Some directors passed on the opportunity to do this movie because they wouldn’t do it rated-R.

Ken J says:

Not from what I’ve seen. So many movies get a PG-13 movie with plenty of violence, the only thing they needed to do was keep from showing nudity or using the f-bomb. Gore is the only exception, they have to keep from showing that, but violence doesn’t seem to push the ratings. Live Free or Die Hard comes to mind where it is PG-13 despite people getting shot up, blown up, dropped, chopped up, etc. but would become rated R the second the f-bombs are added back in, and the new Terminator Salvation seems like it’ll be PG-13 despite all of the violence but if they want that one topless scene, then it will be rated R.

Gore is the only thing that can really change the look of the movie that would push the ratings besides profanity and nudity, and I’m not even so sure that would make a Wolverine movie more enjoyable or not. But that’s just my opinion anyhow…

wall says:

There is no longer a magic button for an R rating, I’ve seen f-bombs and nudity in PG-13 more than once, but really it doesn’t matter imho, cause you can have plenty of violence without gore. Marvel comics more often than not were approved by the comics code authority, which I would easily compare with a PG-13.

John "Kahless" Taylor says:

@Rob
Cyclops did loose part of his memory when he was a child (he hit his head and lost his memory of how to control his optic blasts). Is he a child in this movie? If so, then yes, he will loose part of his memory.

Rob Keyes says:

He’s already lost control of his blasts it seems as he’s wearing red glasses.

My bet is that they don’t meet in the movie.

Quicksilver says:

@ wall

The Stan Lee said the comic code was simply created as a way to clam to the fears of parents, who at the time thought marvel’s comics were too harsh for kids. However the CCA was never really given much atention to the writers of comics and neither from the companies themselves. Basically, the CCA really has no authority

Quicksilver says:

clam=calm

sorry guys

SIN187UM says:

Fox Does a lot of Bizarre things like releasing DRAGONBALL into the theaters.

jose says:

yes it is dead pool,he is the second weapon x experiment…they used wolverine’s superhuman regenerative healing factor to cure his cancer but the experiment left him disfigured horribly and making him significantly mentally unstable.those marks could be tumors…as described in the comics…go to wikipedia and enter deadpool to learn more

Alex Ngaira says:

The character fighting wolverine is quite obviously to me: Daken.Wolverine’s wayward homicidal son.If he isnt the one then they played around with his images a lot!The tats, the claws, bald head etc.he actually has 3 claws just like wolverine’s but the middle one comes from the under side of his wrist.what i dont get is the optic blasts…daken isnt known for that..

Alex Ngaira says:

In the comics, weapon XI is daken, in the movie, its deadpool.but even after the modifications and treatment of deadpool in the comics,he doesnt look like this….this character is exactly Daken. Pliz look him up and you’ll see.

adal.j . says:

you guys forget that daken has a mohawk, which the can easily change for the movie. but, more importantly that, true daken is weapon xi, he hasn’t even finished the process/program. and daken is such a new character that i doubt that fox has even did their research on him or even know who he is. i just sure as hell hope that this ” WEAPON XI” is not our beloved merc with the mouth

by the way to you non readers please don’t make comments on characters or topics that you admittedlt know nothing of. do you homework 1st….marvel.com. that simple

Jeuy says:

After doing some heavy reseach and seeing an unfinished version of the X:men Origins movie, I can confirm that Wade Wilson is the last character that Wolverine fights, as Weapon XI or Deadpool. Though it isn’t confirmed in the movie he is indeed Deadpool but is refered to as Weapon XI.

Jeuy says:

If you pay attention to Wade Wilson played by Ryan Renolds you’ll see that he has two swords which undoutably deadpools deadly tradmark. Duh!
