I dunno, all the stuff with Venom appears to be at the construction site. I really think Venom’s going to show up for one fight at the end of the film, which will most likely be one on one between Venom and Spidey, with Mary-Jane in peril.

You may be right… there may be one big, all-out battle towards the end.

What annoys me is that I went to the Comcast site and they still had the old trailer up (not the teaser) and were saying it was the new one. Every other site had received the Sony press release. Get it together, lol!

Heath,

At the comcast site you have to click on the narrow thing at the bottom that says new trailer or something like that. It’s easy to miss.

Is it strange I am more interested in the Sandman than Venom? I mean I grew up with the Sandman as my #1 fav villain.
Later on Venom caught all our eyes and still remains a fav, I guess I am just scared they are going to screw Venom up is all, Venom has to be done right, or he will come across wrong. The sandman has been written many different ways and is a malleable character, so no fear there. I hope they do this movie right and not follow history and make it to off the winning formula, say like the Batman series; they went too far and see where that got them. We had to wait years for that franchise to redeem itself.

Keep it up Vic, you rock.

Smitty,

Yeah, I’m an old-school Spidey fan myself and am more familiar with the Sandman than with Venom. I actually HAD the original comic book where Gwen Stacey died… can you believe it? Lost long ago… bummer.

BTW, I really don’t have any worries that Singer is going to mess this up and I don’t have any preconceived notions about Venom, so that’s not a worry for me personally.

Best,

Vic

The darkness of the film is what has my all hyped! it seems much more of an adult Spiderman film insted of a campy, and happy go lucky one. kind of like Tim Burton’s Batman films Vs. Joel Schulmacher’s films.

Spiderman 3 is so AWESOME. I have seen it two times already and is still so cool. You guys are in for a real treat. Venom is so awesome in the movie. Venom looks really creepy and cool when he talks.
