Are you serious? Have you seen either Mel Gibson film THE PATRIOT or BRAVEHEART? They share a common theme with what this trailer implies in the new Robin Hood and the quote which is featured prominently in the trailer, that reads 'Until Labms Become Lions'.

If you are part of the younger generation (30 or less) then this may not make much sense as so many of that generation and younger seem to have no problems with relenquishing things like Privacy and 2 to 3 or even more of the basic rights guaranteed in our constituition.

You can either choose to mock this and call it whatever you like or you can see the reallity of whats going on and see why this film could be as important as BRAVEHEART or THE PATRIOT in making poeple remember the price of giving over to tyrannny, of standing by and either doping nothing or mocking those who do decide to do something.

who cares people,it's a decent robin hood movie,the rest were poor attempts,this trailer is already better than them,let it go people,forget about perfection and just enjoy the romance of robin hood.not the mushy stuff,but who he is and what he stands for.

To be honest this film look overdone, anyone remember the Mummy Returns….. In saying that, I'm still gonna watch it (just for that fact that it's a Ridley Scott film with Russel Crowe).

This Robin Hood movie doesnt affect the original that Kevin Costner starred in “ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES” directed by Kevin Reynolds.

I've just realised the invaders are supposed to be Normans. Apparently one of my ancestors came over with this lot in the 12th century (Robin Hood sort of time). If he made it across the English Channel on a heap like that then fair play to him!

I had to play the trailer again and pause it to check I wasn't hallucinating. I find it difficult to imagine anyone around that time designing a blunt wooden vessel with a ramp for a prow. Wouldn't fancy my chances rowing that lump on a millpond, let alone the open sea…

Well, I was pretty skeptical of the whole thing when I thought they were going back to the same old naive “Robin Hood robs from the rich and gives to the poor” BS, but this one doesn't seem to talk at all about that, just a story about an unjust king and Robin Hood leading an uprising against him. So not too bad I guess, I'll see how the reviews look when it comes out.

I hope this is a blockbuster and that the phrase “Until Lambs become Lions” rises to become part of the American pop culture because its meaning is omething very much needed these days with so many in America seeming to so willingly hande over freedom to the government for half thruths and lies of promises for protection from the boogeyman.

We need more Lions from Lambs for we have seen too many Lions become Lambs.

Am I the only one who sooooo preferred the original plot that Nottingham was going to be the good guy? Not that that kind of reversal of good and evil would be what I would normally choose, but it would make it a far different movie than the rest of the Robin Hood movies.

As for Blanchette being the "warrior woman", I think it's great as long as she can pull it off without overacting. I've seen time and again women who play the soldier and make it feel entirely out of place.

Overall I'm sorta excited about this movie, Gladiator being one of my all time favorite movies, and since this seems like gladiator with arrows, it could prove to be pretty entertaining.
