Fast and Furious 6 Logo Fast & Furious 6 Post Credits Scene & Fast & Furious 7 Villain Revealed?

During the Super Bowl, Universal Pictures made a big investment towards marketing Fast & Furious 6, buying a 60-second spot for approximately $7.6 million to debut the first Fast & Furious 6 trailer. Considering how big the franchise has become, and the fact that this sequel was in development before Fast Five even hit theaters, it’s not surprising.

The earlier plan was to develop (possibly even shoot) both Fast & Furious 6 and 7 at the same time, and while they’re being shot separately, the latest rumor pays tribute to the notion that the stories are very much connected, in more ways than you might have thought…

Ain’t It Cool News has the scoop on the biggest Fast & Furious related spoiler we’ve ever heard. And while it’s obviously unofficial and unconfirmed at this point, it is exciting and believable – so much so, that we wish we didn’t know.

So be warned, if you read ahead, you will be spoiled and you may just regret it…

Paul Walker in Fast and Furious 6 Fast & Furious 6 Post Credits Scene & Fast & Furious 7 Villain Revealed?

Around the time when Fast Five was hitting the home video market, reports surfaced about the next franchise installments, with rumors indicating that Jason Statham may be the next high profile star to join the franchise.

As it turned out, Brit actor Luke Evans nabbed the role Statham was thought to take initially and Fast & Furious 6 was shot by itself. According to today’s big scoop from AICN, much of that initial plan may actually hold true.

According to their sources, at the end of Fast & Furious 6, when Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker)’s team of stunt drivers successfully help out Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) in taking down Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) in exchange for their freedom, there’s an additional scene that leads into Fast & Furious 7.

Jason Statham in The Transporter 570x380 Fast & Furious 6 Post Credits Scene & Fast & Furious 7 Villain Revealed?

It may end up being a post-credits sequence much like the tease of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) returning in the Fast Five button, but this one starts with an inside-car view of someone’s hands on a steering wheel of a parked car, with Japanese voices coming though a police scanner in the vehicle. An external shot reveal it to be a custom reinforced Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The scanner asks for all units to respond to a car chase between a black and orange Mazda RX-7 and a grey Nissan 350Z, and so the Mercedes books it in pursuit. We still don’t see the driver but the Mercedes is running parallel on another street to the high-speeding Mazda and Nissan, before cutting left, onto the same road, and sideswiping the Mazda, flipping it as a result, with practically no damage to the Mercedes.

The mystery Mercedes stops and out steps… Jason Statham, as Ian Shaw, brother to Luke Evans’ character. He walks up to the flipped over Mazda RX-7 and in it sits Han Seul-Oh (Sung Kang). That’s right. The franchise has come full circle and merged with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, director Justin Lin’s first entry into the series (he’s directed every installment since).

Fast Furious Tokyo Drift Han Mazda RX7 570x253 Fast & Furious 6 Post Credits Scene & Fast & Furious 7 Villain Revealed?

Mind blown? FYI, this isn’t Jensen Ames Statham from Death Race or Frank Martin Statham from the Transporter series or Handsome Rob Statham from The Italian Job, this is Ian Shaw Statham from Fast & Furious, typecast car skills included.

We can therefore assume the grey Nissan is The Drift King Takashi’s (Brian Tee) ride. Will Lucas Black return to the franchise as Sean Boswell? Hit me up on Twitter @rob_keyes and let me know if you dig this idea.

Fast & Furious 6 is directed by Justin Lin and stars returnees Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Elsa Pataky. The core cast welcomes newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

Fast & Furious 6 hits theaters May 24, 2013.

  1. That’s will be a good movies when i saw jason statham join this fast 7……..waiting this movies!!! Rock on!

  2. I don’t mean to speculate, but whose to say that Takashi(DK) and his Uncle Kamata were working for Shaw? If you saw FandF6 you remember the part when Braga is telling Brian how (Owen) Shaw has power/connections in his Cartel, the FBI, CIA, etc. For all we know Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) could’ve had connections with The Yakuza too! If you look at the part at 0:43 in the link at the bottom DK stops giving chase and stops his car and has a look on his face like he was waiting for something to happend to Han. Like he might of known exactly what was going to happen.

    • Very interesting. It’s not that far fetched at all. Regarding that video, as soon as Statham (Ian Shaw) came out of the car, he was walking away as he was making the phone call before people started gathering around.

There was so much chaos and Sean was going to try to help but by the time he got there the car blew up. Enough time passed for him not to see who came out of the Mercedes and see who was walking away.

It’s not perfect, but good enough for me to fit the plot line leading up to to Fast 7′s big showdown.

But you are correct: Owen Shaw and especially that cartel guy basically let both Brian and Dom know (in separate scenes) that this is more than just a regional thing, it’s a global syndicate kind of thing ….

So this wouldn’t surprise me one bit that the Yakuza (or some members, not all) would have their tentacles latched on to Shaw’s group and vice versa.

Unfortunately for Han, he was the most isolated, so he was the easiest target.

But keep in mind…just because Han died in Tokyo Drift doesn’t mean that his character won’t be featured in some cut scenes in the FF7 which can show other parts of the story during Tokyo Drift that was going on besides his business with Sean.

    • you can be right , but only little problem is takashi is trying to kill him because han stole the money by him but jason is killing him cause of the revenge of his brother

    • you can be right , but only little problem is takashi is trying to kill him because han stole the money by him but jason is killing him cause of the revenge of his brother ^^

  3. Imagine what will happen in like fast 14. Brian O’Connor’s kid is going to be like a teen by that time and driving. Think about it, his kid is part of Torreto part O’Connor. That means he’s has part Brian and part Dominic. WOW, mind blown, cause if Dominic and Brian are both amazingly good drivers, imagine how good of a driver hius kid is going to be.

  4. I hope they bring Lucas black in the fast 7 ,8,9

    • yes I hope so lucas black will be back

  5. OMG.. extremely excited to see Fast 7! I LOVE Jason and it is the perfect addition. I also enjoy the actor Lucas Black.. ever since he did a creepy show in the lat 90′s on TV. Can’t remember what the name of it was, I just thought it was good and he is a great actor. Fast 6 was great too! Awesome franchise. Send me the full dvd set when all is said and done!

  6. berkesaribiyik@hotmail.com

  7. I think fnf7 should be continue with the race of sean and dominic
sean should win , and han should meet him at the race’s end , this film absolutely should be in tokyo (vin diesel says it will be set in los angeles) [maybe brian's son can join them] yakuza were leaving from tokyo cause of takashi’s lose against sean but they should come back to tokyo with ian shaw ( jason statham ) and action should start ^^

  8. **Jason Statham is Owen Shaw’s older brother.**

  9. Great I love Jason Statam to be in Fast7 and Paul Walker and Lucas Black and Drifting Car..

  10. what if Sean is related to Brian 0_o

  11. that’s exactly what im thinking..han never mentioned how long he has been staying in Tokyo..sean might be the little baby in ff6

    • Why would Jack O’Connor somehow grow up to become Sean Boswell and have different parents and then meets Han and Dom who look exactly the same 17 years later? How is that a valid theory?

      • Agreed.

        Totally ridiculous comment by gmz87

@gmz87, have you even watched ANY of the movies?

Seriously, to all those making wild comments about scenarios that cannot possibly have taken place in the movie (you would know this if you had watched it) please don’t come to these forums and waste everyone’s time.

We don’t want to trawl through your nonsense, we want to have legitimate discussion, with legitimate comments not related to the fantasy world of your banal minds.

        Thanks.

  12. this movie ff6 is mind bobbling

  13. There are so many directions this franchise can go; truly the sky is the limit. Tokyo Drift had a major impact on the franchise even though it was the least favorite because the depth of the story increased with all new characters. Now its time to tie it all together with at least two more movies. After that I think it would be more beneficial for the series to progress into individual or duo spin off films. Just no lame TV shows…

As far as Stathom’s character Ian Shaw; personally, I’d love to see him tied in as the driver from the Transporter series. In the Transporter his name was Martin, but it could have been an alias or something. I think it would just be cool to integrate both series as their common denominator was nice cars and precision driving. I actually thought the same should have been done with the Terminator and the Matrix series’ but that’s probably a different discussion.

  14. Fast and furious tokio drift happend after the 6th one haun really dies the 7th one is going to continue from tokio drift with dom and sean racing

  15. hopefully fast & farious 7 could exceed the tensions that exist in fast & farious 6, the inclusion of Jason Statham will add to the story in a more terrible acts.

and of course, we as citizens of Indonesia are very proud when actor / actress of Indonesia can play back in fast & farious 7

I briefly read the story fast & farious 7 will bring back Tokyo Drift, Fast & views from ending farious 6 and Tokyo Drift are all interrelated.

there is one that should be underlined is the death Gesele it looks very unnatural, after holding han Why should she let go of his hand and chose to die by firing subordinates shaw when his shot is not on, it is very unfortunate ..

  16. What on earth kind of drugs are you people taking?

    To reviewer – Han’s car is sideswiped by a SILVER 1991 Mercedes S-class W140, NOT a Black 2004 S-class.

The specced out (i.e. VIP class) black merc front noses Sean’s red Mitsu effectively taking him out of the chase. This is what leaves DK free to force Han into a certain position allowing the Silver merc to take Han out. It’s a technique used by trained drivers in order to capture/rescue/take out a specific moving target. In these situations it is ALWAYS brought down to a one on one vehicle action. Remember the Shaws are professionals.

Next up to some commenters – Sean is Brians son? how on earth is that possible when Sean has a Navy lieutenant father?

Lastly – Drift is AFTER FF6, and that’s final. Tokyo is Hans Mexico. Him and Giselle went there AFTER Rio (hence him having money), they went back for the Shaw job and after Giselle dies Han goes back to Tokyo as that is where he & Giselle where going to settle down, his Mexico, a place where he can be free in the emotional sense as his best memories of Giselle are there, like when they are eating (before being pulled up by cops) and she basically says they are together permanently and this is where they should stay.

Dom turns up at the end of Drift because,

    A. Han was family and he came to either bury him or bring him home.
    B. Shaw’s brother was obviously in Tokyo to kill Han so it makes sense to
look for him there, although they weren’t mentioned the entire team
    might have been in Tokyo.

All very simple to understand if you haven’t got the IQ of a rock.

    • and anyone who has got the IQ of a rock would be able to tell the difference between Hong Kong and Japan.

They were in Hong Kong when they got the call up in FF6

Han and giselle never went to Japan before (at least from what is told in the movies)

      • You’re right, you may have noticed the uniforms the police were wearing, you get a good close up of a female officers uniform with her red band around her hat?

Japanese police uniform that was, if it were Chinese (hong kong) it would have had a chequered band around her hat (influenced from when Hong Kong was a British colony) instead of the colour denoting which prefecture/rank.

Also senior officers wear gold badges on their hats in Japan, in China (Hong Kong) all officers wear silver. Did you notice the male officers gold badge on his hat?

Oh yeah, and of course we are told everything in the movies aren’t we?

oops, I almost forgot, did you see the Japanese characters for rice & fish on the signage in the background?

        Well done.

        • You’re wrong, they were definitely in Hong Kong because I recognise the skyline at the start of the scene. Google it and see for yourself. However the part where Han and Gisele were eating doesn’t look authentic, obviously filmed in the US.

I can’t remember seeing the signs but you should realise that a lot of Japanese and Chinese writing uses the same characters right? Also the police woman spoke Cantonese Chinese not Japanese.

          • I’m wrong because you say so?

Your missing the point, Hong Kong, Tokyo or film studio, who cares where the scene was filmed. The argument is that “Mike” is trying to defend all the stupid & ridiculous comments on here by nitpicking about where a scene “may or may not” have taken place because he doesn’t like the fact that I have taken umbrage with all the airhead comments on here about totally ridiculous scenarios. Out of everything I have said all he could pick on was it wasn’t Tokyo.

For all we know the shot of the skyline could have been any major city at night, most people wouldn’t even know their own city skyline at night if they saw it. For me the scene “seems” to represent Tokyo as most of the evidence points to that. I never said it actually “was” Tokyo, I said the scene was portraying Tokyo as that would be consistent with the story arc.

You at least have the decency to validate your comment with some argument to back it up (right or wrong), Mike doesn’t.

This isn’t about true facts relating to the real world, it’s about discussing the possibilities in the movie and certainly NOT about all the stupid fantasies being spewed out here by people who come across as probably not even having watched the movie properly.

I know it’s only a movie but if it’s going to be discussed then lets at least try to keep the discussion intelligent.

            Cheers.

  17. Oh and P.S.

The reason Shaws brother (statham) has the silver cross to throw in the wreckage of Hans car is because you’ll remember that Lettie showed it to Shaw in FF6 and then told him to keep it. The brother (statham) will have got it from his belongings.

Again, all very simple to timeline up.

  18. Isn’t it possible (call me crazy) that even if Jason’s character is the older brother, and this would be wildly cool, that he Frank Martin? It sounded like he was estranged from his brother and Owen said something in a scene about his brother and having “standards and ideals”. I think Frank Martin is not his real name, he wanted to be separate from his brother. That car is something Frank would have in the transporter. I think he doesn’t know who really is the bad guy, has bad info wants revenge, and when he figures it out, ends up helping Dom and the gang. I know, probably not- but it sounds good, doesn’t it?

    • My god,

      No it wouldn’t be good.

The transporter movies are a MUCH better class of driving action movie, partially thrillers as well.

I don’t think Luc Besson would be very happy to hear that kind of talk.

  20. FF7 is going to be really good. Looking forward how they gonna puzzle the
    pieces together!! =D

When I saw that Han was killed in the post-credit scenes,, I was really disappointed. Because knowing that he is gonna be of the movie makes me or other spectators sad. But i reckon if Han’s girl-friend showed up in FF7 for revenge would be really great or mysterious kind of scenes to let the spectators using their brain to think (making us to puzzle the pieces to understand). And showing the final result in the end and make us surprised :P

However, if the franchise attempts to bring back Han as in returning from the death, would be MIND BLOWN… and its a really challenge to solve that storyline which is almost impossible. For instance if they somehow did involve Han’s girlfriend secretly saved him out of the car would be a great story too. But might be very complicated…

I expect to see Sean racing with Dominic to further on give a flow for the storyline. Meaning that Sean must be part of FF7 which makes more sense. It would be great to see the whole Dom’s crew in japan too.
But if we could see DK’s return to take revenge would also be really nice.

I really want to see Han coming back on FF7, which would be really great and surprising moment for the viewers

    • Giselle is DEAD, didn’t you watch the movie?

Han is DEAD, the actor Sung Kang has publicly stated this.

      Try to keep up.

      • So was letty

        • Yes, but you didn’t see Letty die, you DID see Giselle fall from a car attached to a fast moving plane from a great height, and if there was even a small remote chance Giselle survived the fall do you think everyone would have just stood at the end of the runway waiting for Dom to appear?

Giselle’s death is the catalyst for Han to return to Tokyo, which then leads into Tokyo Drift.

If everyone would stop fantasizing about what they’d like to happen then it all becomes very clear what will happen and why it transpires the way it does.

  21. does anyone have even a little hint about that there is going to be more than one movie after ff6?

  22. So many comments here are stating things which are a fantasy. Legitimate options should be discussed. Obviously at the time of Tokyo Drift, Dom was there at the end due to Hans death but now due to the link from Fast & Furious 6 it eludes that he is also their from the phone call. Sean wilost likely join the group as Hans replacement and Neela will be Giseles replacement.

    • At last!

A decent comment that isn’t total nonsense.

You’re absolutely right, only plausible, viable theories should be discussed.

Too many airheads living in a fantasy world on here.

  23. OMG THE BEST MOVIE SO FAR!!!

  24. scooby mate your 100% correct and hopefully sean does join up with dom after the race and get revenge on shaws older brother.

    • It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s why Dom turned up to race Sean, to suss him out to see if he’s a stand up reliable guy and up to the task of joining Doms team. For all we know maybe Han had told Dom about Sean and how he’s loyal and brave enough to stand up to people etc.

Also Dom would maybe need info about DK, where to find him, who he works for to see if there’s a link to Shaw etc.

  25. Great movies. Great post-credits. Great speculations.

By the end of Fast 6, I had also come to believe that Lucas Black could very well make a come back in Fast 7, especially the writers are trying to tie-in all f&f movies.

Starting Fast7 where Tokyo Drift left off would definitely tie-in the whole franchise neatly. And if that were to really happen.. Why not have LB be a replacement for Han? By that time.. LB would have already signed for the movie.. Why not use him all the way…? It would definitely make the franchise feel even more “complete”. And he is the new DK… Great addition. Dom vs. DK would work not only as a test for Dom.. But also to get to know the guy and possibly get info about Han’s death.. And maybe be able to progress further from this point on…

And yes.. No matter what people say.. Han is definitely dead in Tokyo Drift. Fast 6 post credit scene also confirms it too … In that scene, Ian Sham/Jason Staham walks away from the car pretty relax while giving a call to Dom.. That is usually the trait of a professional killer who is sure that his target will definitely die. And in all movies when that kind of attitude is shown.. The poor targets die.

There’s something I’d like to say to all the people who are trying to find clues or any kind of signs by going back to watching Han’s death scene in Tokyo Drift… Silver or Black/modified or not merc…

Remember that these are movies… When they made Han’s death scene.. I don’t think they were planning ahead to make it tie-in the way they did it in F6.. And even if they did.. They can also always alter the scenes.. And usually what the last alteration is shown.. THAT’s what really happened.

Example of movie alteration to make a story feel smoother? Hobbit & lord of the rings… Scene? When Bilbo Baggins finds the ring. In the Hobbit.. The scene is altered to create a better flow.

These kind of things happen.. Cuz they are movies!

    That’s it. Cheers guys!
