Last month, Tyrese Gibson shared some pictures from the set of Fast Five, the latest installment in the popular Fast and Furious franchise. The snapshots showed a wide range of actors from the movie, including Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, among several other cast members from previous Fast and the Furious films.
The only notable exception in the images was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who plays a U.S. Marshall tasked with hunting down Dom (Diesel) and the rest of the gang. In previous interviews, Johnson described his character as the guy the government calls when they have “issues in trying to track down and find individuals.”
So what does this super bad-ass ex-bounty hunter look like? Now, thanks to Kino Gallery, we finally have our first look. Check out Dwayne Johnson looking tough in the selection of images below. Three of the images also feature Spanish actress Elsa Pataky. Click each image for a larger version.

Dwayne Johnson looks pretty huge in these pictures, especially compared to the diminutive Elsa Pataky, which is nice because whoever plays the lawman is going to have to go toe-to-toe with Vin Diesel in what I can only assume will be insane action sequences. (Just see for yourself how crazy a bank vault heist in Fast Five looks!)

as you descibe him as huge, i was gonna say he isnt looking as lean as ive seen him in the past. im wondering of he purposely bulked up for this. its really gonna be funny to see skinny man Walker next to all these beefed up muscleheads lol

If you’ve seen some recent pics of Vin D. you’ll notice he bulked up for this as well. Looks like they may have a beefing contest going on with one another. Guess neither he nor The Rock wants be seen as “smaller” then the other lol.
God, but I almost don’t recognize him w/o the hair…
He does look a bit weird without his hair doesn’t he? I guess being bald makes a guy look more mean; my son, who’s in security, shaved his head also.
The Rock has always been a very fun actor to me.Hes always entertaining,even in cheesy kids films.He looks imposing as hell in this.And Im not gonna lie,he looks like a black/samoan Bill Goldberg.LMFAO

he has trimmed down a lot since his wrestling days though due to the fact that he is now an actor and hollywood is really after the more chiseled look than the beefed up look.
he is the the great one.he can’t be too far away from hosting raw,surely.

has anyone out there seen him in that episode of the 70′s show? he played rocky johnson his dad lol. one of the funniest lines inthat episode was “one day im going to have a son, and he is going to be the greatest in sports entertainment” so true hahha

I think THE ROCK is being groomed to be the ARNOLD of this generation but with better acting skills. Sure hes not as big as Arnold Schwartzenager was when he was at hsi peak howevere he’s still big and hes a far better actor then Arnold was at the same stage in his acting career. Dawyne Johnson can also pull off a comedy just as well as an action flick.
He definitely bulked up for this movie, yummy! Who wants to go “rock” climbing??? I can’t wait for this movie, love all the Fast and Furious movies and this will be the best with Dwayne in it!
I hate these Hollywood productions they believe to be phenomenal, but do not even know to create a simple scenario.
it was not enough to make people believe that the film locations are in some countries, but they still commit huge mistakes.
that only make the fans of the country portrayed to be angry.
They want to create a scenario as the Rio de Janeiro, but it is so far, first of all, the architecture, second, the cars used by police, even the language is not respected.
in Brazil, speak Portuguese, this distorted view of Hollywood and film industry, should ever end.
In some photos in the internet, I saw a lot of mistakes.
in just two examples, errors in written language, the word on the truck rental is misspelled and the word “bikini” in the sign, is spelled in English, because here in Brazil, the correct is: “biquíni”, and the word ‘rent’, is “aluguel” and not ‘alugeR’
unfortunately, this dont happens only with this production, should be ashamed of not doing the correct job.

The ROCK will eat the rest of the crews alive ; physically & acting ability, unless the script writer wants to keep the original crews intact.
BTW, don’t give the ROCK any rides. Just give him a sew-off shot gun…then see if an old Dodge Charger could run faster than the speeding bullets.

I loved the movie especially with the Rock in it he is the most attractive muscular man personally he looked damn good in the Fast Five he can be un any movie and I will go see every last one he is in
He bulked up because he is going to do some “part-time” wrestling. He is in the main event of Wrestlemania next year, so he probably just started working out more.
